Any pony got any suggestions for the other 3 I picked. Oh and if that first Daring Do ones accepted I'll take Soarin instead.

Also yeah it'd be pretty cool to fix up the Zecora one into the style of the South African flag. I just hope despite the etratuc placement of the items and cutie mark it looked good. >.>

It's still good. You just need to make it less cluttered is all and more sharp. You can work with Soarin if you wish

Ahh good. I had made it about a half hour or so after waking up, I wanted to get it done before my mom came home so I cod leave for my mani as quickly as possible and I wouldn't worry while I was there over it.

I'll probably try working things related to the characters in a certain organized pattern for the others. UuU

So..................I was finished with one of the flags over 2 hours ago and then worked on re-making the original. THEN I realized that my computer had decided to save the first one as a GIF instead of a PNG or JPEG, so it got all pixelated and AWFUL! I had to redo the whole first flag!! Thankfully, it was simple enough that it didn't take me too long to redo it! Gah!

Well.....originally, I was gonna have Spitfire's Cutie Mark in the appearance of the American Flag.  However, since i am also, Spanish decent, can someone draw me the Flag of Spain, with Spitfire's Cutie Mark in the middle.

 

 

Apparently, I don't have the tools to draw it, .   However, since im here, and not to go off topic, whats a good program as well as a drawing pad to use.  Gonna see if I can get it for my Wins 8.1 Laptop.

I've been using Microsoft Paint this whole time! I'm not paying hundreds of dollars for those fancy programs! haha

Also, this is what my process looks like if I put them all up in the same window:

(I'm currently working on Dinky Doo's flag)

I save pictures that I can use for design and color,and open each one in MS Paint. Then I open the basic flag (white with the black trim, completely blank in the top left corner), and then I'll paste the different pictures or sections from the pictures to the right side of it and use the side as a pallet for my colors or pictures. Then I combine the pictures as per below.

But I really just have one window up at a time and switch around to copy and paste colors between the panes.

This was the concept (it may look good, but it's actually pretty rough around the edges):

THIS is what I do so I can trim the blurred edges- I change the colors so I can see what doesn't match, then I smooth it out, then I use the section on the right to re-color the flag properly.

 

When I finish, I upload the final version.

This has turned into a really long post since I've been adding to it throughout the day...haha

I think if the flame is moved down a little, it will help balance out Spike's flag. I'll work with these today! Good job!

Awsw theenks. Yeah the flame does seem like it should be moved. That flag was a pain. I had to go through a handful of screenshots and such to find the gems, and edit over most of them, to get rid of the magical auras and such or in the case of that purple one Spikes claw. But it was well worth it.

Eeeeyup! It can be pretty tedious finding and editing useful pictures! I've done it with 18 of the flags already! haha I know your pain!

 

Edit: And I forgot--those are just the 18 that are being used! I did multiple variations for many of them! haha Honestly, I was trying to distract myself from college at the end of the semester...and they were very effective at doing so! -_-

I counted at least 50 unique variations of the different flags I've designed, made, or edited in some way. I think I got obsessed...

 

& @Sterling Crimson, here's a couple variations for Soarin's flag. I switched the way the cutie mark faces inside the arc, and then color arrangement of the thin stripes and the dividing arc are the only differences.
