Chaos Storm 34 May 1, 2014 Share May 1, 2014 I think that the people aren't really making anthro for anypony but themselves. If you don't like it don't look at it.
Freewave 1,145 May 1, 2014 Share May 1, 2014 I know i can't be the only one out there but does anypony else dislike it when people make ponies into people. Like the equestria girls thing. I mean i like crossovers but keep the ponies ponies, no need to make them less awesome by turning them into people or other animals for that matter. But hey, not hating here, to each his own. I am not trying to offend anyone or hurt anyponies feelings. This is apparently a controversial topic. So while I did state that I do not like this type of crossover, I say that with no malice or hate to anypony. Also I did use the word creepy, but this is just how I feel about the art, NOT the people who make it or enjoy it. Well there's humanized, there's full anthro (walking upright with hands) partial anthro (other's still have hoofs). No it doesn't bother me at all. It's how this fanbase likes to alter the show and shows how we're a hop, skip, and a jump away from the furry community and how these characters can be interpreted a myriad of ways. If Hasbro can do EQGirls we can certainly do the same. I have made brony music since 2011. I like all kinds of music and genres. I'm sure you'll like some of it.. Here's My YouTube..I have several albums on Bandcamp and Pony.FM. Check out the 20+ Musician project Maressey which I am running. Check out the Brony Music Directory and FimMusic. The art is amazing, and very well done. But thats is the kind of thing i dont like. When people humanize the ponies or make them anthro. I don't mind it in the least. I do find anthro and humanized ponies quite appealing. No offense, but this is exactly what i dont like. Not that the art is bad or the people who like it are creepy. I just dont like it, i like my ponies, ponies. Edited May 3, 2014 by Eldwain href="/monthly_10_2013/post-8308-0-50474800-1383261094.png">
Flutter's lover <3 8,206 May 3, 2014 Share May 3, 2014 Why use the word creepy? It's kinda offensive and uncalled for... I'm not a fan of most humanized ponies, like the above anime and other human Rarity...but I do like anthro ponies. Partially because I come from the furry fandom, and anthro is the main deal there. Anthro's can be uber adorable sometimes too, or even sexy. I like anthro over humanized because anthro ponies still hold most of their pony traits. Example being my sig, is the kind of anthro I like. Here's another example of what I like in an anthro. Which may or may not be a future sig of mine.. Fluttershy's lover, she's my waifu. I'm in love and obsessed with her, she's given me shyabetes. *Hnnnng* Yellow Pink Squee Blogs | Ask one of Fluttershy's biggest fans | Official Fluttershy fanclub page! Callisto 1,877 May 3, 2014 Share May 3, 2014 While I won't go actively searching for human/anthro art, (in fairness, I really don't actively search for art at all) if it's good art, then I have no problems with it. Y'know, I've been on this site for almost ten years and I've never had a proper signature. Ain't that something?

Spartan 433 May 3, 2014 Share May 3, 2014 In my opinion, if it involves sex or just stright up relationships, i prefer humanized or to make it more interesting, Anthro.. though, i can read fics of any nature, in terms of biology
Amber Rays 42 May 3, 2014 Share May 3, 2014 I'm perfectly alright with the anthromorphizing, even humanizing the ponies. In fact I've even been asked to draw such a few times before and it's turned out decent. It even turned me into a Sombra fangirl... perhaps I've said too much. *squee* To me it's just another part of the fandom that I accept. However with something canon, like Equestria Girls. I'm willing to wait and see how the team over at DHX and Hasbro develop the concept moving into the future. It's an interesting concept to say the least, I feel it just needs fleshed out a lot more than it has been already before it can truly stick. Though seeing how popular with the target demographic the toys apparently are, hopefully that'll also equate to additional audio-visual material as well which for me at least, is always welcome with open scrutiny.
