If there were humans in season 5, would you still watch FiM?

Honestly, one of the reasons I really got into the show is that there are no humans. If they brought them into the show I probably would stop watching.

 

Either way, it's never gonna happen. There are no regular humans in the FiM universe, as shown by Equestria Girls.

My view of that season/episode would definitely be worse then most other episodes/seasons, but it would not make me stop watching the show. I can't see this ever happening, but if it did I'd just have to accept it.

 don't mind any crazy stuff in MLP as long as it's executed well, in fact, it would be fun if our favorite ponies meet their human counterparts and switch places (it would be fun if Twily IS the one who tries to not make her friends look awkward)

That depends on how it would be handled, we would have to have some very good reasons for humans being there and I think that introducing humans would have been more likely to work if it would have been done toward the beginning of the series like it was with G1. With that said humans could successfully be introduced into G4 without breaking the show but it would need to be handled with great care.

I wouldn't stop watching the show, but I wouldn't be as happy with it as I am with seasons 1-4. In my opinion, us humans should stay out of that world, or at least become ponified upon entering it (like a reverse EQG I guess). Still, I wouldn't give up such a brilliant show on account of only one or two changes I didn't like!

Like everything else in the show, it would depend how they wrote it. When I first read about Twilight getting all the power I was convinced it would be awful and she'd be a total super-powered mary sue. I couldn't have been more wrong. So if they could write it in a way that made it work, why not I guess? Especially if they were the human-like but not exactly human people from the Equestria Girls universe.

 

I doubt I'd stop watching it anyway unless they did something REALLY awful!

I really don't think there will be humans in Season 5, especially since the humans are from an entire different world, and Equestria Girls already has its own upcoming spin off, Equestria Academy. So, I think that's a pretty even amount of Ponies and humans throughout the FiM universe. ^^

 

However, I would still watch FiM if it had humans in it, I'm more than sure the writers would work it in perfectly somehow. I've doubted them before, and that's not a mistake I plan on making again! They have my full trust. ^^

I guess humans in Season 5 would be fine, but I would prefer there not to be. 

 

I'm not sure why, but personally I think humans would be a very bad idea (not to mention the butthurt people who'll revolt against it )

 

 

I mean, I guess you could consider an example to be this; 

consider the humans in G1. 

 

 

Plus, how would the story include them? They can't just be there to be there.

 

I don't know if it's just me, but I personally don't think it's a good idea. I'd be okay with it, though. ^^

Good point; the show's character design sort of revolves around the technicolor idea.

 

With humans, there would only be a couple of colors, and Hasbro would most likely have to use one ethnic race, which would most likely be white.

 

Don't take this the wrong way; by saying that, I mean that any other color would most likely anger parents to make them lash out and say that the humans' skin colors are "racial in every way possible" or something of the sorts.

 

If there was more than one ethnic race, again, I'm sure that even a few parents would cry in anger, stating that the show contains very racial terms.

 

 

Going back to the few skin color situation, remember that technicolor is basically the character design. I mean, unless they go to the EqG's pony (ortho?) design, then they've got a problem there.

 

Nothing stands out more than a dull tan or something of the sorts in the middle of a bright, technicolor crowd.

I'd prefer if they didn't have humans in FiM, it's more of an Equestira Girl thing. Like a couple people have said, I wouldn't mind seeing a mash up between the mane six from the show and the movie.

 

IF they did have humans in Season five, I'd still watch it, it would just take a while for me to get used to it. But I'd prefer if they didn't.

I wouldn't stop watching MLP: FIM just because humans are included in it. I would prefer if they aren't included since the show is more unique because there are no humans in it. The show's overall animation and storyline is much more important.

That right there is the best question that asked to asked before any major change is made, be it MLP or Game of Thrones.

 

If the main reason to add humans would be to ingratiate yourself to the G1 enthuesiasts, then you are not servicing the story. I can think of no story element or friendship lesson that would work only with a human.

 

Wish fulfillment and self indulgence are the lifeblood of Fan Fics (put down the pitchforks that isn't a knock against fan fiction). Keep human in Equestria on fim fiction ... and keep it off The Hub.
