[About the plague and the universe]

This happens in an alternate timeline[Duh] when in Equestria a terrible plague breaks out, that is magic proof making it quite not heal-able by any modern equestrian ways that mostly use that art. 

The plague symptoms:

-Blindness

-Feeling weak

-Virus focuses on the liver, having it slowly rot away, until the victims every meal is a pain and eventually impossible and causes starving to death. 

 

It spreads mostly threw saliva and blood. Mosquitoes are dangerous carriers of the plague, same with flees that live on rats and other animals. 

 

 

[Deeper into the universe]

This happens about a year since the plague got viral and the nation was placed under martial law.

Taking extreme measures the guards became more as executors then peacekeepers.

Some streets and homes blocked off and left to rot, sometimes infected get into the ''Clean'' districts. They seek help but while doing so they make the plague spread. All they want is for the pain to stop. 

 

This happens in Canterlot, where the pressure is the heaviest. Most of the city was blocked off by the guard, separated off by giant walls blocking off districts. Public executions happen once in a while of people considered as traitors of the state.

Many deadly gangs roam the streets, but some friendly trying to support lone survivors. 

Everything is based around black market trade and scavenge, and sometimes killing and robbery. 

 

While the medium and lower classes live a hell, the high class citizens pay off security and take special precautions. Giving them a feeling of safety. 

 

[Main Enemies and factions]

Blue are normal factions

Red are bad/evil which your OC cannot join. 

Yellow are sort of evil but you can be part of them. 

 

The Cravers: Carnival Mask wearing bandits, they are blood thirsty and lost all sense of morality. They are more like "animals" then normal living beings. 

 

Infected: They were the unlucky ones to catch the plague, all they seek is help. Blind they follow anything they hear. 

 

City Guard: They keep the peace and act more as executioner platoons, they keep everything together by a strong iron fist. They are against all gangs.

 

Dead-Watch Gang: A relatively dangerous gang, which bases on robbing and thieving. They have continuing conflicts with the Feather Pub. But they are not all evil, some good grows in it. People get tired of being considered "evil". They ain't as bad as The Cravers. 

 

Lunar Syndicate: A huge organised band of dangerous royalists, trying to find out what happened to the Princesses and take down or control the parliament. They wear characteristic outfits and sometimes tattoo their symbol to their bodies.

 

They are evil when it comes to their ways but they have good intentions. They are mostly against the Guard and a bit against the Dead-Watch. They do not mingle with Cravers and do not care about the Feather-Pub. 

 

Lone Survivors:They are plain old simple survivors, not part of any group. Mostly just simple civilians that try and live their life. 

 

Feather Pub Gang: The Feather Pub Gang was like a safe haven for people seeking help. An organised group which based on helping ponies in need, sadly it is slowly going away from those goals as it gets corrupted. It was formed by a small group of nobles who decided to help the poor, sadly the hosts are long dead because of the plague and City Guard conflicts. 

They currently fight a war with the Dead-watch. Their main residence is the Feather Pub, located in one of the sealed off districts rarely patrolled by the authorities.

 

[Main Locations]

You do not have to stick to these, but I found it important that I write em out. 

Also try and keep your role-play in Canterlot. 

 

Overall the whole city has propaganda posters and graffiti all over it. 

 

Town Market Center

What used to be a place where ponies met up, went shopping, made friends. Now stands as nothing more then a reminder of the authorities strong hand. 

The Town Market center was turned into a small fortress, and houses attached to it turned into barracks. Four gates on each entry to the round area, with a fountain in the middle. 

Trade still goes on there, but under high supervision of the guard. 

 

[Lately this area was raided by the Lunar Syndicate and destroyed, and now is a symbol of the fight against the oppressor, and a spark in what is starting to become a revolt.]

 

The Lonely Feather Pub[And Boxer St.]

Located in a far off blocked off district, rather close to the castle. It is home to the Feather Pub Gang. 

The building is slowly crumbling apart but still in illegal business. They manage to import cider and alcohol from the black market. 

Outside lies Boxer St. Blocked from all two exit sides by abandoned barricades that where used to control the crowd and spread of the infection. Those gates are sealed tight and everyone uses abandoned and secret passages of all sorts to get in and out.  

 

The Black Market

This is a center of trade in the blocked off districts and between poor people. The creators turned the sewers in one of the districts into a trade paradise, giving them a comfy feel. Nobody lives here but ponies come here in search of deals or jobs.

 

The Junkyard

Home to the Dead-watch, the junk yard was turned into a fortress that not even the guard dare deal with, not like they feel they need to in the first place. Dead-watch do nothing against the authorities as long as they stay to the abandoned districts. 

Sadly getting in and out of the fortress is hard since the whole area is usually surrounded by infected drawn there by loud sounds. 

 

The Hive

Center of the Lunar Syndicate organization, set in a big empty mansion in one of the high infected and long abandoned districts, turned into a true safe haven/home for anyone who seeks it. Its exact location is known by almost nopony. Many safety wards were placed around the place to not allow any dangerous plague carrying bugs inside. 

 

Average Streets

An average street usually has a watch gate/barricade protected by unicorn magic that incinerate anyone who touches them. Only people with special passes may pass.

Some streets are not blocked off and you get some sort of life going on there, mostly the higher and some luckier middle classes. Businesses are still open but usually offer a poor choice of product and high price. 

The Guard sometimes give out food rations, but those keep getting smaller and smaller. 

While the blocked off districts are mostly abandoned, and inhabited by Cravers and Infected. And of course some lucky survivors and gangs. Some buildings are sealed in with bricks and such. Business are dry and hardly any open. The ones who try and sell anything are considered crazy, unless they are on gang secured territory. 

 

 

[Other]

-If you played the game Dishonored then you can clearly see what I am basing on. And understand the universe better. 

-Celestia/Luna/Alicorns in Canterlot have no more power, being practically controlled by a temporary parliament.

-OC's only. 

-No modern machine guns or swords[Exception of flintlocks and muskets]. Just the classical good or hand crafted weaponry. Also do not abuse gore, things can get terrible and gross but there is a certain line I don't want people to pass.

Well, I would start it soon, problem is I am going on a 4 day school field trip this monday. So I won't be capable of overseeing it even if I start and role-play saturday and sunday. So it can start like thursday or if that doesn't work then friday.

The guards are not really all evil, they just do what are ordered to do. The problems lie in the orders they are given. 

It is either you follow or you are a traitor and an enemy to the nation. Something some ponies do not want to risk.

The Mountansiders(Yellow or Red)

 

After the plague hit, a group of ponies decided to wander on top of the dragon mountain. They built their stronghold there and wanted to become the ones who would accept everyone in need. But one day, after they let a bunch of infected inside, alot of their own ponies became infected and died shortly after, including the leader's daughter. Their leader was corrupted and banished all of those who had any of the symptoms, even when the pony was just born with bad sight or was in pain from last night's dinner. After that nopony was let inside the stone walls. Not even those who went out for a stroll. So how did they survive inside? Well many ponies have heard the rumors of some kind of cure they're producing. But is that really true or just some kind of a legend? Nopony knows what really happens deep in the mountain....

What is important is which character is your main character which your roleplay will revolve around. You can add as many background ponies to your RP as you want[Not really ALL you want, don't abuse ]. So feel free to introduce those two if it makes you more comfortable.

Dashian, you need to try a bit harder while role-playing.

 

 

You make the stupidest mistes like calling Gareth a Dead-Watch just because he has a scar on his face. 

That is going out of the planned universe and if I didn't write that the Dead-Watch are recognizable by scars then you just don't get into that.

 

Also if your read the accepted people you would clearly know he is with the Town Guard. 

 

Also the way you write your posts makes thing very unclear. Like the extreme lack of comas. 

I mean you are 16 and from USA[Apparently, unless you lied there]. So is there anything I should know, like why you have such problems with writing? Or are you just not trying? 

 

I am sorry if this sounds mean or insulting but it is my part as the "keeper" of this role-play to do it.

 

And I need to get into this because I got complain PM's about you, sorry.

By the looks of it Dashian, you just need to spend more time proofreading what you've written, like what is "clad in baldes?" supposed to mean? Then you have some grammatical errors, and obvious typos in which you refer to Gareth as "Garthe"  There are also no full stops whatsoever. 

 

Basically, you should go over your response once or twice before you submit. If you want I can also help you proofread your responses through PM before you submit them.

Would Stellar also be allowed to be Captain of the marketplace guard, considering she has a good understanding in magic and all.
