Dr. Zerkagon 92 May 23, 2014 Share May 23, 2014 So, after finishing Season 4 I had realised how strange I felt, and then it hits me. I felt happy. You might be thinking "Of course, it was a happy ending after all." That's not what I'm saying. For a long time now I've lacked the ability of feeling truly happy, I can always laugh, but the true feeling was never present inside me. When they were happy, when I saw them in that same pose I saw them a few years ago, I felt happy. Happy for these characters, glad they were ok. This is so strange to me, I want to thank the show for doing something for me I've always wanted to do, and I'd like to thank you people. Wandering-Flare 71 May 24, 2014 Share May 24, 2014 I've actually had that same feeling today. I finished the series but a mere ten minutes ago, and season four was excellent. The ending to the fourth season also concluded a lot, and I feel very accomplished despite not doing anything myself. It was just brilliantly executed and there was an understanding I have never witnessed in a "children's" show before. I understand the feeling, it feels as if there's something genuinely correct about the way things turn out. It's satisfying, and it makes you feel a little warmer to know everything turned out okay. I also think that it helps that the characters - or, most, of them - are very likable and interesting. And not just the show either. i read a fan fic, and it was like an emotional dam had burst. i wasnt exactly a robot before, but wow, this was like nothing i ever experienced before! i had never in my life identified with or connected so well to anyone real, or otherwise, as i did with Twilight Sparkle. i could feel everything she felt. i still feel a bit more sensitive in general and i react to things better. maybe that explains why i kinda fell for her not long after that *blushes* the fic was Romance Reports (warning: NSFW) by sleepless Brony. started reading out of boredom and curiosity and ended up really enjoying it. Anyway, yea, that is what makes the show so aweseome, I love watching the adevntures those cute colorful ponies go in. Everytime I watch the show it ends up putting a big smile on my face, and you gotta know that that's what it's about about bro, the show had brought happiness in the hearts of so many people and no matter what happeness to the show or the fandom in the future it will always have a special place in my heart and the hearts of many others. The show really is magic ya know? That love, magic, faith, and friendship have such subtle but immense power. The power to touch darkened hearts and bring them up from despair. The power to bridge people who would otherwise never know one another. The power to restore or reinforce hope in an entire generation. It's not everyday you see a miracle in progress.
