Here's a nice classical rendition of Babs Seed. I know I made a few mistakes but intergrated them into the piece. Critique is wanted!

That'd be awesome! I learned this one by ear. I can play it in several other styles too. I just need to get a skype.

On the technical side:

Please get a mic and record with that. Your music would sound amazing. There is too much low end gathering in your video and it causes a little bit distortion. Just learn some simple cutoff and your tracks will sound stunning

 

On the musical side

The song sounding amazing. I think you did a great job at the arrangement. Good choice of what octaves you decided to play the piece

I use my phone for now. Don't have a decent mic. However, I'm saving up for a snowball mic that costs around $80.

I was about to recommend the snowball mic.

 

It is a great mic for starting out.

 

If you want to spend a little more, the Audio Technica AT2021 is an amazing mic for instrumentals. You just need to get a boom stand and pop filter, so that is why it is a bit pricy, but is is a worthy investment. The mic also might be phantom powered, so, a pre amp and mixer might be needed. Just research the mic if you want to get it.

 

I would only recommend the Audio Technica mic if you are only doing instrumental work.

 

But the Blue Snowball mic is great as an all round basic mic.
