(Un)Justifiable Cruelty

At work I lost my temper on a biller who had been making mistakes in her billing files. After I calmed down, I wrote an email apologizing, and then I spoke to the liaison for the biller’s company. Today at work was just disgusting. So Columbus day coming soon, I have that day off. I made a comment.
" Oh we name a holiday after a psychopath who helped waged genocide on the Native American people and we all get a day off from it."
Co worker: " Oh hey I at least get the free day off."
This is the type of nonsense and downright immoral attitude I deal with at work. And I know it's like this for other people too.

Before I say anything else, that speech by Big Mac at the end was pretty darn good. Really tugged at the heart strings.
