I don't normally do things like this...I was pretty hyped for Season 4, though, and I did have high hopes for it. I was not disappointed. The crew certainly has a lot to live up to. But in general, I don't spend a lot of time thinking about what I want out of something new (like an upcoming video game sequel or a new season) except exactly what it should be: something new.
Today, I was just thinking about it. And I've determined what I want out of Season 5.

Mario Party was a strange yet interesting release when it launched. A board game stringed together by a bunch of mini-games starring Mario characters? That actually sounds awesome! Just finished chapter 3 last night and I have a few observations:
The first is that it's poorly optimized as hell. It has a severe lack of scaling options and can barely keep an FPS over 30 on my system that can nearly max Skyrim out at a steady 50-60FPS despite not looking much prettier than something like Resident Evil 5 or one of the PS3/360 generation SIlent Hill games(and that's with the resolution cranked down a little to like 1000p, I might play with a little more).

I just got the chance to sit down and watch S1E4, "Applebuck Season," and oh my goodness. That was one of the funniest things I have seen in a long time. I see now why so many people enjoy this show. The brony sensation is becoming much more understandable now. Everything from Pinkie Pie's antics, which were priceless, to Spike pulling the muffins out of the trash, had me in stit

One of the most important overall concepts of Friendship Is Magic is subversion. Feminine concepts that were written to fit gender roles of men and women are reversed to empower the characters, which empowers the audience in return.
