I could never really enjoy Viking Metal, or black metal in general for that matter. Love Wintersun though. High quality death metal there, and Jari Maenpaa is my hero. What kinds of Death Metal do you like?

Jill Janus certainly is a pleasant female vocalist to hear. She's kind of like a female Tim Owens. Complete with the whole deal with those dry, false-chord cleans.

Dude, nice work. Segment at 0:42 titfucks my buttcheeks, it's just that progressive. Kinda chuckled at shuffled-rhythm in a metal song at 1:50. I've only ever really heard shuffled rhythm in metal in Devin Townend's "Ziltoidia Attaxxx". I assume you're gonna keep all of this instrumental? That'd be fine. Will check out some more Corelia really hard because of that. And as of right now, The Satanist is my favourite 2014 album. Blow those trumpets indeed.

Have you heard anything from VI yet? I thought it was a pretty solid album. Solid like saturated fats at room temperature. Das Seelenbrechen was neat. Come to think of it, I haven't seen Ihsahn or even Emperor posted here.

Holy dickballs, that was a nice E5. I remember the "dying cat" sound for them last time. Nice mixing too. Kinda reminds me of IE. Speaking of which, I haven't even listened to their 2014 release yet. Also, who did that album art? It's very metal.

You know, I 've heard this band's name being tossed around for too long, but never listened to them. They seem like Judas Priest: Power Metal Edition Also, Chainbreaker is their s/t's 2nd track. Jawbreaker is the 2nd track from Defenders of the Faith. Their choruses are like, really close. Definitely Judas Priest-y.
