Emerald stopped what she was doing and looked back. "Holy canoli." Was all she managed. Her eyes filled with determination and fear. The ground was crumbling. Her eyes scanned the audience, happy to see at least @Samurai EquineTrilby and her five other friends were safe. @Zecora "Zecora! Something happened to one of the performers! We've tried everything. Is there anyway you can help?"

Emerald Heart jumped off the stage and saluted the others before running into Everfree forest alongside Ghostie. Amidst the dark trees and muck they stumbled on a hut. "There! That must be it!" She knocked furiously on the door hoping their venture was not in vein. @Zecora

Emerald Heart, eyes still changing colors, runs after him. She closes her eyes and headbutts one of Shiny's spider legs. Emerald takes a brief moment to acknowledge Trilby, "Sweet Celestia." She rolls her eyes, turning around and bucking another one Shiny's legs. "You sweet, selfless fool."

"Sweet Celestia." Emerald Heart shook her head. "I hope everyone is alright." She said, oblivious to her own... situation. Her eyes changed color every three seconds, taking away her favorite part of herself. From blue to yellow to mauve to pink to red to black to... Oh, who could keep up? The one color they skipped was green. Emerald shifted awkwardly, unsure what to do or how to help. The one thing she knew that panic only made other ponies panic. So closed her eyes and took a deep breath. One color-changing eye popped opened and she motioned for others to hopefully follow her holdsteps. Calm down, then find a solution. "Princess Twilight's library could help." She muttered to herself.

"I'm basically a freelance therapist." She rolled her eyes jokingly. She giggles as she watched Trilby leave, curtsying in return. Emerald Heart shakes her head and facehooves herself. Great. A competition. She had unwillingly entered a competition. Emerald had never enjoyed being pitted amongst others. "In through the nose, out through the mouth." Emerald reminded herself as she took ten breaths to calm herself down. Emerald Heart chuckles at the nickname and stays still backstage. She is both excited and terrified of what is to come next.
