  1. Interesting question,,,

  2. Yes definitely read the book first. The second movie goes way off track.
  3. I've never seen the point. I rarely see the sun and I'm fine with that.
  4. I really love bats. They're such cute flying furry mammals. I honestly wish they could be pets. I'd love to have a flying fox for a pet. And they're a HUGE part of the ecosystem. Only rodents have more species of mammals.
  5. I've read a lot of sci-fi about this. First of all I agree, a copy is not you. Even if it's a perfect copy, which current science says is impossible, it's not the same person as you. I hate a story where somebody says "It's okay if I die, I'm backed up." You're assuming that electronics are forever. Your brain has lasted your whole life. How many electronics have you owned? Of course you can copy the information to new electronics but there's still entropy. You can extend it for a long time but preserving information forever is really impossible. The brain could be rebuilt and revitalized and expanded for a long long time if we had the biotechnology. You also assume you need to preserve a part of the biological brain to remain yourself. Eventually you could transfer your consciousness and memories to another medium or create technologies that are not too far from the human biological brain and body. You wouldn't be human anymore but living for hundreds or thousands of years or even more would change you so much it wouldn't even really matter if you were technically human anymore. Also consider that if you're technically immortal you'd eventually die of a horrible accident, murder, or suicide. Here's a really interesting video about it:
  6. I don't get bottled water in general. I know sometimes it's convenient if you're going somewhere but why at home? And I especially don't get why people would buy the expensive brands, This Liquid Death crap. Wow, they gave it an edgy name and now you'll pay five bucks for a can of water.
  7. Kind of like being addicted to air.
  8. I'm the only vote for Donatello, the nerd turtle. And no votes yet for Leonardo, my second favorite.
  9. I just finished The Rage of Dragons. Awesome!
  10. There are so few I think they've all been named here.
  11. Potatoes for juice, oranges mashed. Have you tried clementines? They're super easy to peel.
  12. No. I want inanimate objects to apologize to me for making my life difficult.
  13. Alone I can just shovel it down and not observe any kind of manners.
  14. Uh, stay away! Horses are huge! I've never seen an angry one in my very limited experience. I guess there are people who know how to handle them but if you don't you could get kicked like a football.
  15. It is a really weird world. I wonder if it's artificial.
  16. So seriously, somebody explain Discord to me. Here we can post threads for different topics. Discord is like if Media Discussion was one big thread. There can be ten discussions or even more going on at one time about different shows, music, games etc. and it's so hard for me to figure out what people are talking about.
  17. Oh I'm starting the Whole Cake Island Arc now. Egghead is a few hundred episodes down the road and way farther than you watched.
  18. The anime is long but not much time has passed. In the beginning he's 16 then after a time jump he's 18. The only real difference is a scar. I don't know if he'll age any more in the show but it's possivle. It's only very loosly 17th century piracy. There are different islands with difference asthetics and levels of technology. And wgat they do is nothing like piracy. I don't remeber him looking like megaman. Do you have a picture? But he had this very weird form latger on.
