    How do you usually like the lights when you're sitting around watching tv or playing games or whatever? So many people, including some of my family, like to have the lights off and that drives me crazy. It's an eye strain for me and I like to see my surroundings.

    I'm so glad the weather's getting cooler and the evenings are getting darker. It's been more than a month since I had to run the furnace(for the ac) and I hope I get another month before I have to start up the heat.

    I don't have an awful lot of garbage. When I fill up a bag I usually just sneak it into the neighbor's can. I take out the recycling once a month or so.

    I'm caught up on One Piece! 1144 episodes, 15 movies, and probably a hundred episodes that aren't part of the regular numbering. Now I watch it week to week until the end.

    Him being from earth was unexpected but it didn't bother me much. Yeah, he's immature but I can relate. Sophie magics stuff without meaning to and she helped to make Howl worse without meaning to.

    When I go to the convenience store it's bad enough I always have to tell them I don't want a bag for one item but why do they always have to stuff a receipt into your hand with the change??? I don't want that thing! There's not even a garbage can to throw it away between here and my car so I'm tossing it in the shopping baskets!

    In chapter 11 we learn where Howl's from. And in chapter 12 we find out that Sophie has magic too. It seems incredibly common in this book.

    Cool With fantasy maps they usually like to leave something hidden. It leaves room to expand and seems mysterious. Why is it a hot take? They're asianish so they're from the east.

    Ugh, this guy who used to live next to me would throw cigarette butts on the ground outside his house. People advised me "Talk to him." How the hell am I supposed to talk to somebody about something they wouldn't be doing if they had a half functioning brain without swearing and calling him a moron???

    It really grinds my gears when people leave their yard sale signs up. I don't even go to yard sales, all they ever are is racks of old clothes. But if you put up a sign TAKE IT DOWN! Don't leave that garbage hanging there for weeks until the elements take it down for you!
