  1. "Today, the uncut episode is still aired only on YTV."
  2. I've seen the other endings before. I prefer Spongebob's ending, mostly because i'm more used to it.
  3. They did the same with the Invader Zim episode "Door to Door": "This episode was originally supposed to air just a few days after September 11th, 2001. However, due to some of the scenes in this episode that originally contained New York in flames, this episode needed to be changed in order to make it more appropriate. However, the un-changed version was still aired on accident, though it has since then never aired in the United States."
  4. http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zu_50_K5JkI&feature=player_embedded From the Spongebob wiki: "The scene in which Squidward triggers a burglar alarm consisting of a bucket of gasoline which is spilled upon opening the door and lit on fire, causing a fiery explosion, is cut out in later airings of the episode, although a The deleted gasoline scene from the episode. reason was never officially announced by Nickelodeon. The most likely explanation for the removal is because the episode aired on October 5, 2001 the month after the 9/11 terrorist attacks. In the months following this disaster, many companies began to cancel, delay, or censor media that contained anything even remotely resembling the attacks. Another possible reason could be to prevent children from attempting to ignite gas for real. This later became an internet meme. The version included on the Tales from the Deep', The Complete Third Season, and 10 Happiest Moments DVDs include the edited version, but VideoNow versions still have this scene intact. Today, the uncut episode is still aired only on YTV. When the uncut version was aired, "The Bully" was aired first and "Just One Bite" second; however, in all showings of the edited version, the order of the two episodes is reversed."
  5. Basically everything said in this thread. In other words:
  6. At least they ended while they were still good. Besides, this isn't the first time Nickelodeon kept a show that went downhill just because it was popular (Rugrats.)
  7. I learned it the "sort of hard with a touch of awkward-easy-difficult-challenging way." Just so you know, there ARE people who still like Spongebob (I know some people who do.) You wouldn't want somepony saying something like that about FiM, so why say something like that about a show other people might still enjoy?
  8. Anything Nickelodeon hypes up that much should be a sign that you're in for disappointment.
  9. Don't listen to them? What other people think might not always be what you'd think of something. Even if you don't end up liking the game, it's still at least worth giving a try.
  10. If you've never played it, play Sonic 2. That'll make you a fan.
  11. I'd say...yes, you should.
  12. I didn't even know I did that. Oh, and you don't have to apologize.
  13. I don't personally view any jab at another gaming company as good marketing...all it does is encourage fanboys to be even more annoying about which console is/was "better." Nowadays, that add has a much different (and slightly funny) meaning.
  14. Not really. At least, not the Genesis games.
