    "Suited for Success," my favorite episode, mentioned in a Least Favorite Episode thread?? This is the. WORST. POSSIBLE. THING! That is the episode that made Rarity my favorite pony - showcasing her amazing talent and generosity. That is the episode I go to when I talk about what a sophisticated show MLP is - just listen to Fluttershy's rant. Pret-a-porter and not French haute couture?! How often do you hear that in a cartoon? And do not get me started on "Art of the Dress" - I can listen to that song all day. Oops, but this is supposed to be my least favorite episode. Hmmm... meh, I'll agree with the Owl I guess. I was hoping the Owl would have some kind of flaw but it was just a cookie-cutter perfect pet. Still thought the episode was worthwhile - if you sneeze fire into someone's book, just fess up right away!

    I have enjoyed reading this discussion and I was wondering... how many of you noticed the arcade in the Hearts and Hooves Day episode? There are three arcade machines in that episode. The players did not have horns so they were not using magic to power their games themselves. But then again, the machines seem to just be out in the open and I did not see any electric cords coming out of them. Battery power? Batteries that maybe store magical power? Arcade machines seem hi-tech to me.

    I agree with Ponypunk 100%. I only want to add that I thought it was also very entertaining that Twilight was so busy trying to be girly "be the book" that for a good portion of the episode she was completely oblivious to the conflict around her.

    Rarity, Princess Luna, and Derpy! I think I love these characters the most because they tend to get misunderstood. Rarity may come off as prissy and fussy (Applejack sure thought so!) but I remember her kicking a manticore in the face and cutting off her own tail to fix a mustache. And then, later on, offering to make her friends free dresses (how many ponies would do that?). And then, when they did not appreciate them, she worked even harder to give them exactly what they wanted and nearly ruined her career. I find her very complex and intriguing. I am happy she is the element of generosity. Princess Luna - the episode Luna Eclipsed sealed the deal there. I loved that episode. Derpy - the "save Derpy!" campaign is how I came to MLP in the first place. I will always love Derpy!

    Many of you are fortunate to be able to freely communicate with your parents. I used to be that way until I told them I liked Goth music and the Goth community. After going through that experience, I am never telling them anything the least bit controversial ever again! Besides, I am an adult living on my own and I figure it is none of their business anyway (though I do enjoy watching Gordon Ramsey shows with my dad over the phone).

    Greetings Fillies and Gentlecolts! I am a recently-converted brony from a town close to Fillydelphia. I had become aware of Derpy's plight and signed the petition to save her right away - I cannot stand killjoys who want to make everyone miserable just so they can feel superior and self-righteous. Naturally, I wanted to learn more about the show at that point so I started watching. I am happy to say I have now seen every episode and feel caught up. I LOVE THIS SHOW and I look forward to discussing its awesomeness with you. By joining this forum, I feel my fun has been doubled.
