It works for some countries but it is definitely not a cure-all, no pun intended. This doesn't mean the US system is better but it does show that universal healthcare doesn't always work. Canada is a big example.

It could but people shouldn't expect it to magically solve our healthcare woes. Coverage isn't the only problem we have. We still spend on insane amounts of money on healthcare in the US but most of that money isn't really going anywhere. Immediately dumping more money onto universal healthcare isn't going to help.

That would be interesting. It would prove that this conservative wave that swept over the UK and America is more global than we thought.

As someone that lives in Indiana, I don't blame anyone for being anti-american now. Even I am completely anti America at this point.

At best I'd say you should be anti to a candidate, or an ideology, but a nation itself is a little extreme. Nations can always undergo political changes while ideologies are pretty fixed.

I'm Australian so this isn't exactly my election... but having followed it I can honestly say that both Clinton and Trump are horrible human beings, just for different reasons. I can honestly say that no matter who wins, this is going to get ugly fast.

Only the weak friends are pushed away by debate. I'm almost always on the losing side of a debate with my friends but I've never pushed them away. They've likewise never done so for me either. None of the good ones anyway. <_<
