It just seems to be the case. A good amount of the time it's because some fundamentalist bigoted school was force-feeding someone that the Earth was 6000 years old, or that they're being shunned because they're not orthodox, and many more.

I never understand why being liberal somehow makes a source more credible. If your source came from somewhere like Breitbart or the NRA or the Daily Wire, it is automatically incorrect.
