  1. What are you talking about? You're not even close to mediocre, much less ugly! You're gorgeous. That is pretty awesome. I've tried making cool things out of food and usually fail miserably. Hahah, that's sweet. I'm guessing that there's a perspective trick going on here though, or do you actually have lifesize ponies? You are so beautiful! I love your hat and hair. I giggled. You're doin' it right. Aw you are gorgeous! Your beard is the bomb bro. And now, my face and our munchkin tree that makes me look tall! Pardon the poor image quality.
  2. I think it can be fun and it has its place and purpose. Like so many have already said, it's great to get a basic reference image of your original character if you don't feel up to drawing it yourself. However, it can be used poorly and abused just like any other tool. And I think if you really want to have a lot of images of your pony, you should take the time to practice drawing yourself! You'll never improve if you rely on things like the pony maker all the time. If you do use the pony maker and don't intend to stop, that's fine. But you shouldn't really expect it to be treated like something you actually do. When someone bakes muffins using a box mix (just add water!) should they be treated like a chef who bakes from scratch? Sure, the muffins were tasty. You followed directions well. But a box mix (or a pony creator) doesn't leave much room for your creativity, uniqueness and skill to flourish and so is not as impressive as the hand-made alternative.
  3. Thanks everyone! Here's a super quick doodle from yesterday. I'm not that pleased with Pinkie Pie, or my lines overall. My hands have been really unsteady for the past few days, something to do with one of my meds I think. http://musehorse.deviantart.com/art/BIRTHDAY-BIRTHDAY-BIRTHDAY-418876381
  4. At least imaginary ferrets don't steal all your toys and the bathtub stopper lke our real ferret did. He hoarded Barbies in the cabinet beneath the kitchen sink. But he was awesome.
  5. Hahah, I don't know whether to consider that cool or creepy!
  6. Very impressive! I wish I was still that flexible, but now I'm all old and creaky.
  7. That's awesome! Where'd you get it? Aw thanks. (:
  8. 'sup guys. I've been horse crazy and art obsessed since I was a wee munchkin, so naturally I have drawn lots of ponies throughout my life. Here are a few recent pictures. (you can get these as individual icons, free to use, right here.)
  9. - A hound dog mix named Zoe - An Australian Shepherd mix named Davy - A chow mix named Aurora (but we call her Puppy) - A pony mix named Sassy - An Appaloosa named Kando - Four chickens
  10. Mostly English, Irish and Scottish, with some Native American.
  11. I don't consume dairy at all. Almond milk is my favorite, but sometimes I'll have soy or coconut. I like unsweetened vanilla or chocolate flavor.
  12. Right now I just have water. I should probably get up and get breakfast though, and tea.
  13. - The gurgling sound of the coffee maker - The smell of smoke from campfires, burning brush, or grilling - My dogs following me around the house, especially in the morning when I'm the only person awake - The satisfaction of grooming my horses when they were really dirty - The smell of horse feed - Plants growing in unexpected places - Watching the sun rise - Seeing wild deer - Seeing birds of prey - Hugs
  14. Aw dang, you're all so good-looking! It's cool to see what a variety of fans there are. This picture is about a year old but I haven't really changed.
  15. My iPad currently has this background. I have a drawing of the TARDIS on my desktop, but I want to find/make a good Doctor Hooves wallpaper to use.
  16. Almost all of the official plushies look really warped. :/ 4DE's are the best I have seen. But then some of the fan-made ones are awesome, I just don't have that kind of money to spend on toys.
  17. I liked some of the fanart I saw online but avoided the show for a while. When I finally gave in and watched the first episode, I enjoyed it enough to watch a few more, and was more impressed by later episodes. They exceeded my (incredibly low) expectations.
  18. I think I get what you're saying. Personally, I suck at introducing myself and never really know what to say, but I try to first talk about things that are definite (I'm a 19-year-old girl, have horses and dogs, and live in the USA for example) and then generic/broad interests (animal lover, veganish, artist) and after that if I need to continue talking about myself, I'll get into "fandoms." They may be serious, deep interests and might have had a huge impact on me, but they're not as solid as my other interests. Shows get cancelled and no matter how much you loved it after a few years there just isn't as much of an active fandom and it's not that big a part of your life anymore. Or the producers/writers/whoever do something crazy and you don't like it anymore. So yeah . . . let your identity rest on a firmer foundation. Fandom is just the decor that gets changed around periodically.
