    I think it depends on your mindset and your experience. I know I'd like to go back and see just how much has changed in the decades since I was last there (finances won't permit it, unfortunately).

    Went to work, got groceries, came home, watched some YouTube videos, and now getting ready to go to sleep.

    Let's see ... the day started on a chaotic note, with two phone calls waking me up regarding work, then there was the power outage, which fortunately didn't last long, and after that things started to improve.  Even got a visit from @Tree Hugger today, which was nice.  Kinda makes me wonder what the weekend has in store for me.

    Anyway, I shall ponder that while in the proper state to do so ... asleep.

    I feel a bit tired, but that's probably from being woken up twice last night for work-related stuff.

    Today I learned that eyes, while essential for daily functions, are super expensive to maintain when something goes wrong...

    finally got my eye looked at, and if the medication does the trick I may not need any type of surgery.  Which is good because I don't think I could afford it anyway.

    So far, I got up, got dressed, went to work, did my morning reports, put a call in to the eye doctor, made a menu for next week, planned my grocery shopping, and now I'm just browsing the forums.

    I've got tons of mental scars. As for physical ones, I have a scar under my navel from hernia surgery, and a scar on my left index finger from when a knife slipped and cut me down to the bone.

    When I worked as a courier, I once got directions to a freight terminal at JFK airport to drop off some freight. I ended up circling the airport five times and then wound up halfway out in Long Island before I finally gave up and headed home.
