So this was interesting. It definitely wasn't bad at all, but I felt like it was more appealing to the target audience, or which I felt pretty out of that sphere. All the emphasis on the little girly stuff and lipstick and all that reminded me of something. Girls would make girly lipsticky stuff, nail stuff, what have you. It's completely not my taste being a 36 year old dude. (who just to happens to be into pony stuff, but that's beside the point) I feel like the topic of this episode really catered to them, and would appeal the best to them, and I wasn't the most absolutely into this as others might be. I do appreciate Pipp's attitude and personality to all this, though. She does the right things.

Here's the fan club thread for the beatnik unicorn known by the name of Onyx! Previously nicknamed by the fandom as Gloomy Sonnet, her name was shown in the credits of One Trick Pony, before finally being referred to by name in dialogue in All That Jazz! I think she's real cute and cool, and I know she has a pretty healthy following! (And no, I don't know why she got a dye job between the movie and series.)

I know people have theorized she will become a friend in the end. And it would round out the cast making another six, two of every race.

That was pretty cute! I like the episodes that focus on a non-mane character. Jazz has a fairly strong following. And now we know that Gloomy Sonnet's name truely is Onyx!

Do you know if these were officially licensed? If so, that's pretty big BS. I don't get the rules of doing this. Just like not having Season 9 on Netflix.

...did they seriously f***ing do what they did at the end of that episode? Episode was already middle of the road, but that brought it down to just bad. Again, always good gifs and character sightings, (Windy!) but I wasn't a gigantic fan of this one.

Hitch seems to be having a little trouble at the moment.

Oh my flipping goodness! That was something! I never expected Argyle to have a voiced appearance again. And what does this rug/tapestry mean? It's as if Sunny and her friends forming was some sort of event known to happen. Did Argyle know something gigantic? I saw a comment on Derpibooru wondering if since he had seen Hitch as a colt and Argyle's piece had Hitch on it, it's as if he knew something big was coming that was supposedly foretold. I was starting to get really intrigued at the whole discussion of "the family", but they pulled that into a "friends are your family" sort of thing. The only real thing I have against this episode is that it's a 5 minute TYT affair. This is the sort of thing that could have really gotten saved for MYM!

Well, it seems we may have possibly got an answer today. In one of the official books, it shows a map of G5 Equestria, or at least the parts they're focusing on now. And in the corner there is an interesting location...

I'm not quite convinced it's going to be her. A flashback in the comic showed Shadowy Alicorn, and not only was she an adult and had the same bad temperament without any nightmare-ing, she was a unicorn, which means she became an alicorn somehow. Probably through some sort of sordid means.

Cause she was saying no to everything. That would bum you out after a while, or make her seem distant. I thought the episode was pretty alright. But Posey, she's finally lost it with everything that keeps happening to her.

This is a big thing I want to know, and I have had the curiosity to post this thread for some time. The big mysterious Shadowy Alicorn who will almost certianly have a major prominence in the show has no name given just yet, and I've just wondered what it could be, since they're keeping it a secret, and will be a big reveal, possibly even in the MYM series trailer that may come out soon. Maybe we can guess and see who turns out the closest! What is this creepy dark alicorn's name, would you guess? At least pick a couple of possible letters her name could start with! And titles like Princess and Queen don't count, either. I almost put up a poll with 26 options with every letter of the alphabet, but maybe it will be easier just for you to post. If I had to guess, she either seems like a P name, F name, M name. I know of someone on derpibooru who seems to have settled on a certain name which seems like it would fit. (It's long enough that we can talk about her safely, right?)
