Trot On: A Proposal For A New "Ponified" Phrase

I started seeing a lot of pony related pictures/posts on funnyjunk about mid 2011. At first I thought it was people trying to be humorous by spamming cartoon ponies all over the site so I never really thought much about and ignored them. By late January to early February of this year, the number of pony related material I came across was astounding! At that time I was still unaware of the brony...phenomenon shall we call it? Eventually I became curious as to why there was so much pony stuff on the internet and started checking out what was going on. I initially thought it was weird for males in general to watch a show for girls(let alone younger girls). I didn't understand their fascination with ponies. I was pretty neutral about it but told myself I would never watch the show. Eventually I decided to see why grown men were enjoying this show. I thought, "I am confident with my manliness. I can watch an episode of MLP and I won't like it because I'm a man"(I had always and still do have an affection for cute things which I never expressed to anyone and always made sure to hide when around other people). So I watched an episode with a family friend's 1 year old daughter whom I was babysitting. I believe it was "The Secret To My Excess". I thought, "For a modern cartoon this isn't bad, but I still don't get why men like it so much." So I watched more episodes and as I watched more, I saw how great the animation and art was compared to its contemporaries and how the scripting seemed to flow naturally and wasn't forced to fit the situation, and I learned more about the characters and their personalities and before I knew it I began to fall in love with the show. TL;DR I bucking love ponies!

The Future of My Little Pony and the Brony Phenomenon
bloodyfox replied to planet news's topic in Sugarcube Corner
What we are and what we do will live on throughout time. I think a time will come(most likely long after MLP:FiM has ended) when our pony zealotry will no longer rival what it is now. However, within our hearts and minds we will always remember and love the ponies and what we have learned from them and most likely spread this to our children and those close to us. From time to time we will fondly reminisce this pony era we enjoy now. Some will completely forget and move on to something else, yet others will still be bronies as they draw their final breath. We stand strong in the face opposition. We break age and gender stereotyping and better ourselves and accept others and their ideas with open minds. We are friendship. HUZZAH! -

Her tone and facial expression when she said that made me have internal rage. I thought to myself, "How dare you speak to Twilight that way you sun b****!" On top of that the other mane 5 turned their backs on Twilight in favor of comforting "Cadence". I didn't either and I loved that fact. Usually shows are so cliche you can pretty much see the beginning of a movie and already have a pretty good guess how it will end. The Cadence twist kept me guessing about what was going on. I thought I knew what was going to happen with the Elements of Harmony and then BAM! It totally went another unexpected direction.

After reading everyone's thoughts on the subject, I think perhaps I didn't explain myself thoroughly. I agree that ending the show with season 2 would leave too many unanswered questions in the storyline(even if it didn't I wouldn't want it to end). I was speaking solely about the two finale episodes themselves. I wasn't meaning to make it sound like I was saying if the series were to end now. Let me try rephrasing the question: Do you think The Canterlot Wedding episodes would be a good send off for the series(assuming all the storyline questions had been answered)? I'm not sure how to explain my thoughts any better, so I hope this helped some of you understand where I was coming from. No problem. I've just seen a lot of people spelling her name differently, and I thought maybe I was missing out on something.
