  1. I don't get why I have a thread under "Topics I've Participated In" that has 11 posts, and not one of them are mine.

  2. Though they're a black metal folk band (black metal being a genre with allot of screeching), Ensiferum's not really a huge culprit in the case of incomprehensible music. A quick read of the lyrics from their track "Twilight Tavern" and you'll know exactly what the leader singer is saying and what the song's about. http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/ensiferum/twilighttavern.html
  3. Got my homework done just before 1:00 am. YEAH BIO!!!
  4. Very nice! Wish I could draw on my computer. I really suck at that. Yeah, you'd get warning points for that stuff. You could post it on DeviantArt though. They'll take NSFW art work with the exception of an age restriction.
  5. I've never gotten anthropomorphic ponies. Rainbow Dash and twilight Sparkle just look like a frik'n aliens.

I don't think Anthro is intended to look normal

I'm very familiar with the furry fandom, so anthro characters don't really look all that weird to me. Besides, all the characters in the show display a level of intelligence and ability to speak as well as a human. By that logic, even ponies are anthropomorphic.

  6. Banned for using small letters so I have to squint at the screen
  7. Banned for referencing an outdated pop song.
  8. Probably should tread on lighter water when posting from now on.

  9. You and me both. I practically drank an entire pot and now it's 8:30 PM.
  10. From my own personal taste in this genre I would have to say, if you like folk black metal stick with ensiferum, but if you like the nordic viking stuff I'd recommend Heidevolk.Sure they speak Dutch like 100% of the time, but the lead singer has a very "strongman-like" voice that gives each of their tracks a certain Nordic vikingish flavor. You'll know what I mean when you hear this track. [youtube/]
  11. Well here's a detailed example of what a russian accent would be like.https://youtu.be/hhNf_FCIK_c
  12. Folk and Viking Metal are both under the umbrella genre "Pagan Metal". Viking Metal focuses allot on Viking paganism in the lyrics while Folk Metal tries to blend Folk Music with heavy metal. Both pretty much follow the same style though. One trait that these genres both share are the lyrical mentions of medieval era battle and war. Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between the two really. Thing is though, some of the most badass tracks of heavy metal music that I've listened to personally have come straight out of these two genres. "Ensiferum", which literally translates to "sword bearer", is one of my favorite Folk Metal bands,. They blend Black Metal (which is also a pagan metal genre) and Folk Metal together to give a dark war-like theme to their music. That's just one of their tracks. A personal favorite of mine from them is "Into Battle". Anyways, is anyone else familiar with Pagan Metal? Or at least interested?
  13. My accent is very faint; so much so that I don't even notice it at times. It's an accent that comes from the city I grew up and am currently living in; Rochester, NY. I apparently put more of an emphasis on o's, r's, and a's than most people from other places of the U.S.
  14. What do you know, everyone's making friends... Won't be long till everyone stabs everyone in the back.
  15. Looks like my nightmare's over and my dream's just begun. (wow, that sounds so wrong)
  16. I've played on the world map, on huge, 22 nations, 28 city-states, domination victory only, with Epic time settings. After the turn of the 24th century, half of asia and europe was a nuclear fallout with the only countries left being France and America (me). Rest assure, the save file eventually crashed my computer towards the end of the game.
  17. It's also a good tactical move too. There could be reinforcements hiding in the cities.
  18. I really like Civ 5 and continue to play it till this day. My longest game took over 40 hours long to finish. I played as George Washington and I used the world map on Huge with 12 countries. I erased every possible victory except domination making it impossible for any nation to permanently be at peace with their allies. The game lasted up into the century 2300, and ended with a world-wide nuclear war between France and America (me). Seriously towards the end, a nuke was less as inexpensive as a warrior at the beginning of the game in comparison to how stupid rich I was. I felt like I was playing god wiping out five cities in one turn, and building new ones right over the ruins. It was the most fun I've ever gotten out of that game and I'm going to play it again soon. So does anyone else play any games in the Civ series?
  19. The horror movie Hush. It's a very quiet, very suspenseful. Not gonna spoil anything, but here's the trailer for those who missed it this year.
