  6. I have been selfish lately. I admit. I used to be a much kinder person a year ago, I don't know what happened. I'm writing a birthday card for a Family member of mine. I've never acknowledged her birthday and she must be in her 70s by now. I don't even know. I hope it's a pleasant surprise. I mean that's not really a random act of kindness, but it is for me. I didn't realise how inwardly focussed I'd been until seeing this thread. Crap. I should really do more for people. I suppose the greatest act of kindness is enabling yourself to give to others.
  7. Here I was thinking that Starlight Shimmer was the new favourite after Equestria Girls. Since when have people hated on her? Lol
  8. It's 2:37am and I'm sitting here wide awake. Friggin Tea. The glorious elixir wasn't worth it. Caffeine.. #betrayed
  9. the inner psychologist in me says "Guided meditation" would be good because once you figure out how to change your mindset, you can easily get back to a stable frame of mind. Realistically, and as a practical approach one should confront their fears instead of avoiding them. If all else fails, seek help from someone. The spiral of self-doubt is real shit, you don't want to go there. It's a bad, bad place.
  10. My 2 cents: I'm of the firm belief that a computer cannot make appropriate emotion-based responses, regardless if it's an uploaded mind.Because the human brain is a mixture of Hormones combined with electrical responses and sensory information. Advantage being that we can "feel" as well as "perceive" which most fictional robots can only percieve and judge on facts only. Machines, alas cannot produce emotion. Only display emotion. So they are inferior and not as valuable as human life. Computers will never be more advanced than us, because lets be honest here, machine will always be slave to man. One of Our greatest fears perhaps is machines gaining awareness and striking back. But honestly I'm of the idea that they lack the emotions to actually go through with that task. HOWEVER... augmenting the human mind is another story altogether. We are damn screwed if we venture into that territory, No thanks. I have seen enough Sci-Fi to see where that's going.

  13. Wow that was a long signature. But all in all, I came to say that that it was very... encapsulating? I'm not sure what the word is. But anyway. The sea is a very scary and interesting place. I love it but would not dare go in there! Well done. For doing what I cannot. You deserve a medal. Orva cookie shaped like a medal. xD

Well thanks for reading it! Almost everyone I meet says the sea is terrifying (which it can be from what I've experienced) but it really is fascinating!

I also do love cookie-shaped medals! Is it chocolate?!

  20. 14, *spits out tea* Holy Crappoli Sundae 15,000+ unread posts since I was here last. Oh well. I take no credit for sheer majesty of this work of art.
  21. What a day this was. Fun in the sun on the Goldcoast, and family friendly times. G-meister (or Greg) was enjoying sunbathing. All of life was swell and good Until.. G-Meister had witnessed a terrible act. It was Tony Abbot in his red Speedo underwear. Tony winked and smiled, like Ian Thorpe in his cereal Ad. It seemed like the image was burned into his retinas. No amount of Mountain Dew could fix this. Terror. Disgust. Sheer Monstrousity. All those nights dreaming of dank memes had turned into terror in the coming days. "It could be worse." G-Meister reluctantly pointed out. "At least it wasn't Donald Trump, my old nemesis" Suddenly the shadow of Shrek appeared out of the shadows. What could be lurking in the shadows? What terror awaits G-meister in the dark of night? Who could be in the shadows? And why?
