Yeah I'm really not a fan of humanized MLP characters at all (well, most of the time, depending how they are made). I like them just as they are.

Maybe Hasbro could allow an MLP anime from Japan to be made, could be made by the people who did the animation for Sonic X. Would be the second show made by Lauren Faust (Ok, I know she didn't TECHNICALLY create the show) to get an anime adaptation, after Powerpuff Girls.

Ok, then what if the shows and movies are completely NON profit, would Hasbro still allow them with or without their permission?

Then I guess the best way for people to be able to make them would be having to get that license. Who knows, those who do could possibly make things such as a spinoff show about Vinyl and Octavia (with Nowacking and Eliemonty doing the voices) and an adaptation of the MLP Project comic.

Do you think someday Hasbro will allow people to make professionally made fan series with whole episodes and full length animations, as long as they get express permission from Hasbro?

I strongly doubt it, It's best 2d animated.

Ok, so let's imagine there would be an MLP movie that would have an all-star cast. The movie would be about Chrysalis and Sombra teaming up to take over Equestria, and Twilight and her friends have to stop them. It would take place after season 4, before season 5. What actors/actresses would you have to play the voices of what characters in this movie? Here's a list of the characters that would be in the movie. Twilight Sparkle Rainbow Dash Applejack Pinkie Pie Rarity Fluttershy Spike Applebloom Sweetie Belle Scootaloo Shining Armor Cadence Luna Celestia Discord* Chysalis Sombra Etc * = Character would have the same VA as in the show I would have a few personal picks of my own: Natalie Portman as Cadence, Julianne Moore as Celestia, Angelina Jolie as Chrysalis, and Benedict Cumberbatch as Sombra.

What do you think an MLP with older mares would be like? The mane 6 would basically be around Cadence's age and the target audience would be the female young adult demographic. What kinda stuff do you think it could have? Would you watch it? This is just an idea, so I'm not asking if you think Hasbro should make such a thing.

While the brony and furry fandom do have their flaws, I'm gonna say that the Sonic fandom is pretty annoying.

People can say that Hasbro is one of the most lenient companies all they want, but that means very little when the ones who have the power to take down content are a completely different story.

It's not Hasbro we should should be concerned about, but rather their C&D team.

Well it started getting made a while ago, and according to an ED article about the creator, the C&D already took place.

I also heard that the legal firm is planning to take down Journey of the Spark. I hope they have a good reason to (like using DHX puppets and whatnot).

Let me remind you that Hasbro and Hasbro Legal are two different entities. This thread was about Hasbro Legal, not the company who created the franchise. This isn't "brony drama", this is a serious and legit issue.
