  1. I think that just the extremes of the fandoms are weird. Like sometimes I think fox ears are cool, but people who wear them every day with a tail and paw gloves are pretty strange. And people who occasionally talk about MLP or wear merch are fine by me, but then the fans that can never shut up about it bother me to no end. If I had to pick which one was weirder on average, though, I'd say furries. That's probably because I'm biased, though.
  2. Something bad? About Rarity? Well... sometimes I... really don't like her mane. Good enough?
  3. Attention everyone: I love the Gravity Falls theme song. That is all.

  4. My favorite Anime was Ouran High School Host Club and I would definitely recommend it, because it was surprisingly witty, complex, and hilarious. Also the back story of one of the characters makes me cry every time I watch it because it's so crazy inspiring. It ain't a fast paced show, or a groundbreaking action piece, but it's still pretty darn good.
  5. I can't really feel like that yet, since I didn't watch the show till late May or early June, but I dunno if I'll ever feel like that. I mean, the fandom is so exhilarating. I've never met a group of people before that are so into creating things. I mean, the Sherlock fandom and the Doctor Who fandom, they're all right, but the Bronies are downright inspiring. Maybe I'll get over it somewhere down the road, but for now I'm happy to be a Brony, and excited for whatever's on the horizon.
  6. I just finished the fanfic "Cupcakes". Not as bad as I was expecting. And the writer had some great lines in there. Overall, a pleasure to read. :)

  7. My sculpture won't dry for 24 hours?! But I want to paint it now! Harrumph. Now I'm bored. >: |

  8. Dude, my parents would freak out if they knew. And my siblings too. I don't know a single person IRL who knows I'm a brony. They wouldn't get it. They'd probably think it was just me trying to be weird. Like I need/want to try.
  9. I will. I'm a bit nervous about painting, though. I've only ever glazed ceramic projects before, and all I had to do was evenly coat it. My lack of painting skill is the reason I always went for clay classes in the first place.
  10. I didn't even think to check. Actually, the wings were an afterthought. I was pretty sure I was done, so I started packing up my stuff, and then when I was done cleaning up, when I put it all away, THAT'S when I remembered that I was supposed to be making a Pegasus, not an Earth Pony. So I was rushing to add the wings before it dried out. Next time hopefully I won't be such a scatterbrain.
  11. You're right. The wings are a bit off. I'll have to be a bit more attentive with that kind of thing next time. Thanks for the advice!
  12. Well, I can't draw to save my life, but I have tried my hand at ceramics a few times. So today I was bored, and for the first time in years got out the clay and saw what I could do with MLP. So, this is what I made: Right now the piece is drying, so I'll probably paint it tomorrow or Sunday maybe. I ain't looking forward to that. Hope I don't wreck it. It ain't perfect, but it ain't bad for a first attempt if I do say so myself. Next time I'll have to try and make the legs a bit more slender, and the wings ought to fit onto the piece better. Anyway. What do y'all think?
  13. Oh right. I slightly remember that one. I don't know if I've seen the whole episode.
  14. Heck no I cannot drive stick! And I refuse to learn! I am perfectly comfortable with my simplified automatic Accord. Holy wow, though. You drove a car from 1944? That's impressive.
  15. It took me forever to get my license. I was already 18 and graduated by the time I took the test, but now that I can drive on my own, when and wherever I want to, it's pretty much the best thing ever. As long as I don't have someone in the passenger seat complaining and gripping the armrest in terror. I swear, I'm not that bad of a driver, and yet every turn I take people act like they're riding side by side with Evel Knievel over a jump.
  16. Wait, three? I only remember two: I Remember You and Simon and Marcy. Did I miss a third episode with my favorite character pairing ever?
  17. Dude, this show was the bomb. Loved every second of it, especially casually demonic Fluttershy.
  18. Yay Rarity! I have to say though, she doesn't quite look fabulous all the time. Guys, attaching pictures to posts is hard. I'm not sure I did it right.
  19. I respectfully disagree. Not about the production thing. I agree that ideas need a lot of processing and framing before they can enter even the most basic stages of actual creation. But their's a difference between helpful criticism and blunt and harsh criticism. I believe we all ought to encourage creative thought no matter who the idea comes from, or no matter how bad it seems at first. I believe we should offer suggestions and valid questions, instead of just telling someone that it will never happen. You know how creative people, artists, musicians, writers, usually talk about naysayers? I think we should all do our best not to be one of those. Anyway, that's just my opinion. But whatevs, ya know?
  20. I have a job interview in two hours! I think I'm going to be sick.

(\ It did go pretty well. I don't have the job yet, I have to come in for a trial period thingy, but it's looking good.

  21. Dude, so true. Especially with movies that have an emphasis on their 3Dness. Like they spend so much time making sure everything "looks cool" so the plot falls flat.
  22. Dude, welcome fellow geek. I'm Phoenix, pleased to meet you. Feel free to flash fiction it up, man. Oh my god. Flash Fiction could be a really cool name for a ponysona/oc. If it isn't too close to Flash Sentry. Anyway. Great to have you!
  23. Dude, I'm so white it's sad. I come from a long line of English, Scottish, Norse, and French Royalty, with just one Native American ancestor a few generations back to shake things up. My ethnicity is so boring.
