  1. Updated with some new specifications and a new example song or two!
  2. This cover was to test how low I could go in the chorus harmonizing - with more of a choral or acapella approach in the chorus with a simple instrumental in the background. All the bass you hear in the song is done by unedited vocals, apart from EQing and amplifying. If you listen closely at the end, I hit a B1 in the background, which is the lowest note I've ever hit (around 4:16). Yay! Again, none of the vocals are edited apart from being made louder. Thank You!
  3. I'd like to be guest if it helps - my info is on YouTube and such in my signature. I should be free over the weekends.
  4. I make some 8-bit music and vocal covers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnS-uarptvA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6ES7GKZDqA
  5. I feel like all it needs is on the bass line playing the octaved chords from 0:30 onwards, you should play around with the modulation a bit and give it more Dubstep qualities. Apart from that, very good.
  6. I have training in my higher range as well as bass range - look at my post here for more stuff. Anthropology shows this off pretty well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnS-uarptvA
  7. If you'd like a vocalist any time, hit me up, my skype is matt.twigg03.
  8. A new singing video! I hope you enjoy this one, it's one of my best sounding covers yet! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnS-uarptvA Any contructive criticism? Go ahead and leave it down below! Thanks!
  9. If you need a male singer I'd love to help out! I have a low bass voice but I'm pretty comfortable in my higher range. I can read sheet music fairly well. This is my newest singing video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnS-uarptvA
  10. Cool. I can work out vocal harmonies pretty quick, I'd like to do some stuff with another person.
  11. I thought I was singing for you? You told me you were having troubles with Ableton.
  12. Name: Twiggy Skype name: matt.twigg03 Do you own a good microphone? If so, type (condensing, dynamic): Blue Yeti w/ pop filter, 192,000Hz. Do you sing? If so, any experience: Yes, I'm a bass singer in choir and I have done many covers on YouTube and have performed live on occasion. EDIT: Range of B1 - D5 (comfortable in the higher 2s throughout the 3s). Are you able to fake an accent: Yes. EDIT: American, Scottish, Welsh, Australian, French, Spanish What characters are you able to voice: Doctor Whooves, Big Mac, male versions of mane six (mostly RD, Flutters, and Twilight). Give me a voice and I'll try. Links to samples of your singing/voice reels: https://soundcloud.com/bronyance/crusader-are-we-there-yet-cover https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SBbrWVpxwbY
  13. I'm always open to do backing vocals as a bass singer or vocals for Discord if you need. My YouTube is in my signature.
  14. Seems like it would be a lot of work. You do realize you can't just put music on a mix, you'd have to ask permission from every single artist. Assuming you're putting on 2 songs by every artist, and the songs are around 3.5 minutes long each you'd be asking about 34 different artists for a 2 hour mix - then you'd have to wait for them all to reply. Even I have a music usage agreement. Anyway, I'd be fairly interested to see how it works out. EDIT: Alternatively, you could use artists who have disclaimed already that their songs can be used if credit is given, but my point still stands. I'm only worried for your channel if you're given copyright strikes by artists.
  15. It's not the best thing I've ever done but here you go: Dr Wolf.wav
  16. I'm interested! Here's one of my newest singing things: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=THRsc9jZqFU as well as this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=95we5ke4L5E
  17. I'd love to join - I'll record something in the morning.
  18. Cool~! What was your old YouTube channel? I'd love to check it out as long as you wouldn't object to me doing so!
  19. I sing and voice act on my YouTube channel in my sig ^^ And I'm always up for collaboration.
  20. Connections, promotions, collaborations - I started up in the community and started making things on my channel in my signature in last September last year. Since then I've gained 139 subscribers, because I've put my creations forward to Equestria Daily and other sites, as well as showing other brony musicians (for instance, I knew that MandoPony had made 8-bit stuff before so when I started making 8-bit I contacted him on Twitter saying that he might enjoy it, and he did) and I got a boost in attention from him. I've collaborated with others - currently working on a song with FritzyBeat and am in a little group with people like L-Train, Chi-Chi and a few others, and I've not only played to the brony community but to other fan-bases, like the Pentaholics, fans of Pentatonix. It just takes some patience and a bit of PR. EDIT: Also, I love your stuff, it sounds great.
  21. That sounds fun~! Go ahead and PM me if you have any ideas on what to do. ^^
  22. Sure, as long as I know the song it's a parody of! What were you thinking?
