  1. Would this be not more appropriate for the debate pit, since it warrants a rather controversial-ish discussion? Anyways, there's not much you can do with congress around, at least I would centralize power more and attempt many different methods to influence the presidency's authority OVER congress. That would allow for so many reforms, changes... but the downside would be that it would turn more into a dictatorship rather than an actual "democratic" republic. There's not much the government can do over people's stupidity, really... at most it would be to change the education's system. .. wait, we're talking if we had our own country? aaaaa sorry-
  2. Pretty sure at least SOME people would agree with the fact that this is ABSOLUTELY delicious. :33
  3. Heh, perhaps that might be the case. Though... the last nightmare I remember was really vivid. I'm not sure if it's relevant to the thread, but... aaa an admin can delete/hide my post if it isn't! >.< My nightmare was basically a few classmates of mine were in some kind of Colosseum, and I apparently didn't have any clothes on/didn't switch to my PE outfit, so I went looking for a changing room of some kind... though apparently I took so long it became nighttime? Anyways, one of my classmates told me to get to a trailer... I remember it being on top of a small hill just outside the Colosseum's gates. I went inside the trailer; the walls were yellow, and it was surprisingly rather big inside. There were at least 8 people in it, and in the middle there was a dining table filled with all sorts of food! Here's... here's the really interesting part. Once I sat down, I was about to talk to one of my friends until literally everything went dead silent, and all that was even AUDIBLE was this sort of ringing; the really sort of high-pitched ringing you hear when you suddenly hear a loud noise... only this time it simply remained for a good 5 seconds before ALL the windows in the trailer opened at the same time, revealing nothing but pure, total blackness at the other side of the windows. What was really, really scary about the whole nightmare was how there was screaming; screaming that could easily be compared to something you would definitely not listen to. The screaming was loud, it sounded female... there wasn't a particular source coming from it though; but I can tell you this much that it DID come from the windows, just... all at the same time. It was a monotone type; almost as if the screaming came from one source, yet it came from all the windows... I remember that I saw something at the other end of the room at the other side of the window; I do NOT remember what it was right now, but... perhaps it was wearing some kind of white robe? Pajamas? It was actually really short in height, nowhere near tall yet tall enough to reach the window... perhaps it was floating. I remember when I tried to take a good look at it, squinting my own eyes... is when I woke up. Maybe I forget dreams THAT easily, maybe it's that I just fucking suck at remembering, but I can DEFINITELY tell you this much that I remember dreams perfectly whenever they happen. I've had constant dreams, but... no nightmares, strangely. The one I just narrated was only "recent", and it already happened months ago.
  4. I've had various problems with sleeping, and luckily I still wouldn't mind to do so! I've experienced Sleep Paralysis from time to time, particularly once a year (it isn't very often, I can say that much.) From what I remember, nothing particularly happened except being able to sometimes hear voices or sounds, most of the time IRL. I can safely say though, it has been FOREVER since I've had a nightmare... perhaps the last time I did so was months back, and even then that was the first one in... probably 8 years? last time I had a nightmare I was 8, and suddenly having one 8 years later was pretty... shocking. But anyways, I've never particularly had and experiences like the ones you're describing; sleep paralysis was something that happened to me, not being able to move at all, vaguely remembering my ceiling... I usually wake up about 30 minutes to an hour later though. I've never had nightmares, or hallucinations of the sorts :c
  5. Which what I meant was, having mods period is better than having no mods, no? I was specifically talking in a console perspective; say if I was one of those people that thought that a PC would be $10000 so I can play game in like, medium settings 30 FPS (if you're one of those people pLEASE USE GOOGLE), so I'd only be choosing between Xbox One and PS4. Xbox One MAY have a much lower capacity for mods, but the mere presence of mods in the first place IS more interesting than having no mods period.
  6. I'm pretty sure this thread isn't about how successful Microsoft and Sony are depending on which region, so personally I think it's best if you at least make an effort to stop derailing from the current topic. Personally, this really WAS a shot-in-the-foot kind of move for Sony; one of the biggest reasons for most people to buy Skyrim/Fallout 4 for PS4 WAS for the mod support since many people seem to prefer a console experience rather than having a PC (this is coming from a mainly-PC user btw). It's sad, because I bought a PS4 for a few games that could actually have been great... I withstood the obligatory PS Plus membership to play online, but if they're going to sacrifice quality for more quantity of games/price of their subscriptions, I don't see why you would pick a PS4 over an Xbox One at this point. It doesn't matter if it's because of security issues, if the Xbox version has mod support, I'm pretty sure it'll be much more attractive. (Personally though, I wouldn't pick a console period at this point. Playing online should be completely free and there shouldn't be some sort of mandatory subscription just to play with your friends.)
  7. are donuts an instrument

    1. Rulerofblocks

      Rulerofblocks

no looks donuts are not an instrument

  8. Nah. There's nothing to be proud of other than somehow managing a worse debt than Greece... or having pretty good food x3
  9. Puerto Rico. I'm kinda ashamed to say it at times XP
  10. ... Let's just say I'm from the American continent, but not from the United States itself o3o (continental, anyway)
  11. Hue, I absolutely love anime myself. Though I haven't watched a whole lot, and (recently) I haven't really decided to watch any at all, some are practically my favorite storyline from anything period. Kill la Kill was mostly about the silliness and how it didn't really take itself seriously which I rEALLY liked (and fucking Nui Harime's one of my favorite villains), Attack on Titan's pretty good, albeit slow (but if you like slow-paced shows, you'll enjoy this one pretty well. Main character is nothing but a wimp and the anime doesn't try to change that), there's Fate Zero (I haven't gotten to watch the rest of the series aaa-), and... my personal favorite, Madoka Magica. Probably the best anime I've seen, and sadly it's rather short, which makes me sorta sad xD
  12. The main reason that everyone remembers villains because of their looks is because they literally have no personality at all. Nightmare Moon was just the typical dark pony wanting to... make it night forever? Discord actually HAD a personality, but we all know that's how we remember him (and John DeLancie :pp), and... Sombra's the perfect example. Nothing but "crystals". I mainly stopped watching MLP and other shows because of this; why waste your time on making a villain look cool as shit, or having interesting powers and that kind of stuff without adding SOME sort of substance on the character? Take a look at Darth Sidious from Star Wars; he didn't really have that much of an amazing design, but he made it up for actually being truly terrifying with his manipulation, and his force powers. Take a look at Trixie, at least SHE has SOME personality, and I consider her a much better villain than... let's say Sombra. It might just be me, but I prefer to have a villain with a personality, a backstory, SOME substance... the sorts. And, personally, I think everyone else does prefer a fun, witty villain/a truly terrifying villain rather than just a mindless shell of a "character", who does nothing but be bad.
  13. It's all based on perspective. You can't exactly force the fact that they're suffering onto their face, 99% of the time they do it willingly.
  14. Sometimes it's best to have those people who can't control themselves, so that other people will see exactly what they shouldn't be like. Say, when World War 2 was over, everyone really felt horrible deep inside because of their loved ones lost, let it be a soldier or simply a citizen from Europe. Personally, there's always room for improvement, but we'll never reach perfection.
  15. Kek, personally, I get really violent myself; it's practically IMPOSSIBLE not to get mad at least once in your lifetime, or at the very least, annoyed. Anger is the primary cause of all violent in my mind, and much like a fellow forum user who posted in this thread, there exists a balance. You cannot have a perfect world where everything is fine and dandy; take a look at G3, it's nothing but extremely creepy/fishy, and... well, what would be the point? Where's the challenge? The fight? (At least that's how I view it)
  16. Nope, I'm currently not single. Been for a while, but she and I decided to give it a try and... well, here we are, 3 months later o:
  17. (I meant whenever he has the mask on, whenever he doesn't it's... kind of humorous xD)
  18. This might sound a little bit far-fetched, but hear me out... Kylo Ren's voice while he had his mask on. Whenever I listen to his voice, most of the time I do think it would fit Meta Knight really well!
  19. I wish that I knew how to draw in general, I draw about as good as a 5 year old whenever I'm being given a pencil and paper. Digital art wouldn't be so bad to learn, either.
  20. I just found out I'm half-French... can I run away now?

  21. It's grey! GREY! (Seriously though, I spell it as grey myself, despite everyone around me spelling it as "gray")
  22. "How to do many things at once while not doing anything at the same time!"
  23. The movie itself was rather cringy, and not really funny to watch (which was the director's main intention), but the motives and development behind it are FAR more worse than this forgettable flick can be. Look at Shoe's video on it; she explains it far better (and funnier!) than I ever would. The original movies themselves weren't even focused on the humor, this movie's just an excuse for Sony to just grab as much money as possible to stay relevant, and then using the all-female cast as a "shield" of sorts to hide the fact the movie's really shitty, and label everyone that doesn't like it as a "misogynist".
