  1. Celestia probably did it just so she wasn't the ONLY one that would protect Equestria from danger; look at the tirek episode, in a case where even her own magic was useless, she had Twilight's help to defeat it. Numbers are a far smarter factor to have than just have one superman alicorn princess. There's always gotta be more than just one :DD
  2. Police aren't the bad guys simply because they put people in jail; it's because those people are twisted, demented. Sure, they have done mistakes but at the end of the day they had to do what they had to do. Celestia is no different: "Dangerous", but important missions. She sent them for a reason, she ain't keeping them around just to make them feel happy and all that. Sending her own sister to the moon which was just absolutely twisted in KILLING Celestia, not to mention she's JUST as powerful as herself. Stripping her of her own powers would be impossible, since she had to use the elements of harmony themselves to lock her in the moon. If you noticed, Discord was kind of destroying all of Ponyville, and he had the NERVE to be arrogant about it. Whatever happened, happened, and he was just as powerful, if not more than them. Again, they used the elements of harmony against him. Kingdom almost entirely run by enslaved, helpless ponies to which she felt the need to save. She simply took down their ruler, to which he resisted. There is no "real" villain in MLP, because, despite my earlier text, EVERYONE can be seen as "evil" if looked at from a different point of view. Why no mention of Changelings and the blatant racism against them? Why is it that Celestia HAS to control absolutely everything, even the celestial bodies themselves? Celestia, at least, in the already set point-of-view for the show is not the villain by any means. Villains are villains for a reason, not because they're "born" evil. They did bad things, which makes them bad. Celestia didn't do anything but stop it.
  3. I have long hair myself, despite being male. I honestly really like it; at least I don't look like a bald Alien or something (I have one of those giant fucking heads)
  4. Eh, you might be able to buy a couple, maybe a bit more DLC in store. The whole pack's still about $100 when on-sale.
  5. Actually, CK2 is about as bad from what I've seen. (By the way, these are all the "actual" DLC. There's special editions of the game worth $100 that have no actual useful DLC other than skins, extra music and stuff.)
  6. Personally, I find it that poverty is about as common as real life may be (it's a monarchy, what do you expect?), but it's only hidden by the fact that it's a child-friendly show (meaning it's only shown if it's part of the plot only), and you're mostly viewing and experiencing through the mane six's perspective. Again, most, if not ALL mane six characters are filthy rich. If they aren't, then Twilight most certainly is for being a princess.
  7. (EU4 DLC) Honestly, it's fine if you want to add a lot of DLC to a video game, but when you take away certain features to add them in a DLC (Common Sense), it's a really bad move in my book. Games are a masterpiece, they're just so... DLC infested, it's really sad to see it like that.
  8. No, I haven't >.< It looks like a fun game, but I haven't gotten around to buying it
  9. So, initially I wanted to create an Europa Universalis thread to discuss about the game, until I realized that it would be a bit more exciting to talk about all of Paradox's games in general (not to mention there isn't a thread about it yet, as far as I know ((If there is, please let me know below!)). Are there any Paradox Grand Strategy players here? If so, what's your playstyle? How did you get into the games? What was the craziest, best, or even worst game you've had? What are your favorite, or least desirable aspects of Paradox's games (apart from its DLC, we all know it's pretty horrid). Go ahead, don't be shy about posting how big, or small your blob is Basically, I started out by a friend buying me Europa Universalis 4 once it was on sale last year on Steam. I understood the game rather quickly, and was able to play the Ottoman Empire... sort of successfully! x3 Just recently I got Hearts of Iron 4 (never played HOI 3 or any previous installment). I didn't understand most of it, but I can't wait until I do, it really looks just as fun as EU4 does! (Still haven't gotten Stellaris, I'll get back to you on that >.<) And now, for an obligatory blob picture(s)
  10. I'm mainly waiting for Stellaris or TW3 going on sale. Right now, there's no possibility of me buying them (generally everything in my wishlist is what I want/waiting for sale)
  11. There really isn't a lot to do in a Saturday, is there? ):
  12. I remember when I was five years old... Oh my LORD, was this game the shit! I actually bought it twice; it was reaLLY that good!
  13. happy birthday americania!

  14. Android KitKat 4.4.4 (yes, I use a Samsung Galaxy Note 4). Personally, I never really liked OSX (currently have an Apple iPad mini 1 for school purposes... barely, if ever, use it.)
  15. To me, an OC isn't just a color palette on a body, or just another simple, measly "idea" inside your head you created to use occasionally for roleplaying. No; to me, it's a whole new being, albeit a (seemingly) non-existent one, you still created a new, unique, single individual. You set a personality, a soul for it. You give it character, a back story perhaps, a unique vocabulary, choice of words, family, memories... etc etc. You may inspire your character from other sources, but in the end, an OC is meant to be unique (despite how unoriginal it might seem. To me, the less "original-looking", the better. No one looks like some kind of weird crocodile creature with butterfly wings in real life; we merely look the same (generally)) I'm not one to say what your OC should look like, and I'm not sure if it is a good idea to have ANYONE design an OC for you, simply because of the definition itself: "Original Character". The "original" part originates from you, the creator. Not from random people in the internet. (wow this was way more of a post than I ever wanted it to be)
  16. holy moley, you're here too?

  17. Samsung Galaxy Note 4, got it rather recently. White model. I may keep it for a while unless the battery starts playing tricks on me.
  18. If eating 3 hot dogs, a twinkie, and a lot of lemon lime soda is qualified as healthy, yes. I eat healthy (not)
  19. https://goo.gl/RVwmGq Meh, I can't say I love me some guns o3o (Although, this is the same website that apparently recommends me Watch Dogs... :l)
  20. Looks

    gaming Death Stranding

Naked Norman Reedus? Babies that turn into goop?! DEAD SEA ANIMALS?! ALIENS?! KOJIMA?! What's not to love?!
  21. I personally prefer Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, and I would vote for him if I could.
  22. I mean, look at the video game "Hatred". Despite the whole controversy, the game itself was badly made and barely had any sales (as far as I know). Barely anyone remembers it nowadays.
  23. It's fine to consider technology to be magic, there's nothing wrong with that! Just don't let it stop, or intimidate you from learning how they work ^^ (Also pls I wanna shoot laser beams out of my eyeballs)
  24. There's a difference between being practical and doing something that just doesn't make sense. No one around you benefits from bringing that plushie. Sure, you go ahead and do it, but what I'm saying is no one will really care. (And if they do, it's usually not the good kind) It's kind of a funny stereotype going around that hipsters wear those since they're so "original" (or vintage? Point is, they wear it because no one else does)
  25. Just kinda getting old for me, though I don't leave this forum for example regardless if I watch the show or not
