Are you implying that Amarone is actually suitable for the occasion? How uncouth. At the very least you could pour them Recioto or skip the Valpolicellas and go for a legitimate Barolo.
Hm... While i agree with you at some points. Amarone is still a very good wine, but a Barolo sounds nice at the moment. So what do you chabs say to a glass?
