Good to see My Little Pony teach kids about trigger discipline.

The better question is what did you not return too?
No, wait! You've returned to a lovely Jeric paradise!

I'm still kind of annoyed that Fluttershy played the tambourine in Rainbow Rocks. I mean, I'm not hating on tambourine players or anything, but of all instruments, a tambourine‽

How is everyone? :)

I did the absolutely worst thing ever: searched my symptoms, on the Internet. Apparently I'm gonna die? Now I'm paranoid! D:

Under Her Wings is borderline headcanon about the filly days of Twilight meeting Celestia and becoming a student, it's kinda slow, but if you really get into it, brings out subtle emotions, some cute, some funny, and even some sadness. and i like The Guardian because it's more alt universe, and not as G-rated, dealing with Rarity as a princess, and Twilight as a guard in training (the characters are done differently from canon and i think the story will start to ship eventually). bo...

So many people farm for brohoofs but don’t give them out themselves.

@Tacodidra Personally, I think the teacup, Thanks, Yay, Smile, Excited and Hug should all count toward your reputation!

I agree.

So glad I'm home. At work this one member talked to me like garbage and I felt like curb-stomping him to the point of liquidizing their skull. But anyways, how's everyone doing?

A special thank you to @Recherche, @Wannabrony, @Alexshy and @Rising Dusk for joining the Vinyl dance party yesterday, and a huge thanks to @Mirage for starting it all off!
It may have been small, but it really cheered me up. I've been going through some tough times lately and try to keep it on the down-low, but I'm glad to have met such wonderful users here on MLP Forums.
From the Blue Crew to the Forum Games and to the WPCC Lounge, thank you for sharing your kindness and being your awesome selves!
Shoutout to @Royce for the afterparty song.

Imagine if Fluttershy wasn't shy and cowardly? She'd have so many friends, achive all her goals, make so many ponies happy, get given more opportunities, not drag anyone down and make her family so proud!

Fluttershy's shyness is taken to an entertaining level. Take the first episode. When she meets Twilight, she's SUPER shy, then all the sudden she busts out of her shell to talk to Spike. It creates conflict and mystery to keep you interested in knowing more about her.
All good writing, from the characters to the world to the dialog, is all crafted deliberately to keep you interested and feel emotions. The closer it emulates real feelings and experiences, the easier it is for people to like what they're watching - even if those experiences and emotions are bad (horror films for example).
Fluttershy is uniquely shy among the six (eight) which establishes her character and allows that 'flaw' to be a point of conflict and struggle and humor over and over again.

@The_Gobo Easy. They have lots of friends and put on a confident act, but deep down they are petrified of meeting new people.
@Mirage You make an excellent point! I guess it comes down to personal preference, but I've always preferred more authentic characters over exaggerated stereotypes.
And yes, I know it's a kids cartoon about talking ponies.

My little froggies, my little froggies. Crook, crook, crook, crook...

Why does everyone have to live in different time zones? Why can't we all just live in the same one? Or better yet, all live in a brony mansion together - all gathered around, but still using are PC's and phones to talk to each other via the forums xD

Phantom Of The Opera is my fave from self-titled; Murders In The Rue Morgue from Killers; half of Piece Of Mind are in a 4-way tie, lol, omg... um, i honestly can't choose between Where Eagles Dare, Flight Of Icarus, The Trooper, and Sun & Steel; Flash Of The Blade from Powerslave; Deja-vu from Somewhere In Time; The Clansman from Virtual XI; and These Colours Don't Run from A Matter Of Life & Death

@Tacodidra Hello Taco! *hugs* I missed you so much!
@Astral Soul Thank you! I'm sorry - I don't recognize your display name...
-
No worries. I joined in January 2021, so you maybe dont know me yet :>
-
@Astral Soul I see...well, I am ancient and so much has changed...hard to tell who is new and who has decided to be different.
Nevertheless, your pfp is intriguing to a creature of the night such as myself, and an astral soul is only warming to my dark lonely heart.
