I have a Derpy mailbag too. At first I wasn't sure what I'd be using it for, but now I take it with me whenever I leave the house. What's not to love about a flippin' huge messenger bag with a pony on it?

Hot chocolate with a shot of peppermint shnapps makes for chocolate-minty goodness! I have to be careful not to add too much shnapps though, I don't like the taste of alcohol that much.

I love looking at all the music they have at my mall's Sam Goody's, the only problem is that everything is so expensive on a regular basis, and dirt cheap if they're having a 50% off sale. Make your prices in the middle! Used video game stores are great too, but I have to watch myself very closely, lest I support my urge to hoard more games that I'll never play.

Country, rap, and pop music are a few that I couldn't get into if my life depended on it, but I think it mostly has to do with the music part of the song, not the singing (the vocals can be awful in any genre, but country and pop stand out the most to me). If the musical portion of a song catches my attention, then I tend to be much more forgiving with the song as a whole, which tends to make me love and hate artists from several music genres. Some metal/rock songs, like "Six - All That Remains" and some Killswitch Engage songs, for example, sound decent and have vocals that aren't too grating. Other songs in those genres seem to miss the boat entirely for me, with screaming lyrics being placed over boring music that doesn't evoke any kind of emotion from me. And the same applies to practically any other type of song that I listen to. I could care less if a song has rap in it, so long as the musical portion is attractive and the lyrics/vocals don't make me want to gouge my ears out.

Out of my immediate friends and family, I'm closest to my younger sister. It's kind of an odd love/hate relationship between us though (which is probably typical of siblings); we can annoy the crap out of each other some times, but we're able to get along most splendidly a majority of the time, moreso than with anyone else I know. Not that we share too similar of interests, MLP being a major one, but she's accepting of it, and I know she'll beat up any bully who tries to mess with me for wearing brony merchandise.

More, or different smileys definitely wouldn't be bad, but I feel content with the choices available to us at the moment. I don't want to need to sift through a huge list of smileys to find the one that I want. Right now there are about 20 smileys which encompass a wide range of emotions and adorable/huggable situations. I think once that number hit around 40-50, some would need to be removed to make room for others. Not that a huge list of awesome smileys is bad or anything, but if it became anything like the DeviantArt smiley list (which was in need of some pruning, last I checked) it would only be confusing to navigate.

It's one of the first recurring things I caught onto between this thread and tulpa.info... maybe it's because, once you've read it, you can't not think about it. Maybe it's because most of the people there are virgins just open about their sexuality. Maybe it's just a part of who we are and can't deny... Tupper sex. Tupper sex everywhere. I feel bad now, like I've crossed over to the dark side! XD

Last night while Lethal and I were reading a book, I stopped reading in my mind-voice for a moment, and could have sworn that I heard a very faint/tiny voice reading the words as my eyes moved across them for the next few paragraphs. It was almost like a faint radio signal set to a low volume, not entirely clear, but I was sure it sounded like the words I was looking at. I've told her to do her best to read aloud with me as I go along, and do my best to imagine her sitting next to me while we both read from the book. Progress maybe? I don't know what to do about her making those images appear to you, but I think I understand why you might feel worried (or I could be completely missing the boat). I'm not gonna lie, I've imagined my tulpa and I having sex (it was quite a strange and vivid experience at first, but I think I'm growing used to it... XD ), but it's always just sort of happened spontaneously, without myself consciously planning for it before having a session. Because of it happening seemingly randomly, I feel like it's not going to grow into a dominant trait of hers; we've had several sessions where we've explored/hugged/smooshing each other's faces without anything like that. I mostly felt worried about it stunting her growth because we aren't able to reliably communicate yet. Honestly, I'm just now coming to the point where I'm not worried about that anymore, because I KNOW that there's more to her and myself than that, and I have plans for her (if she's okay with them...) and that isn't being some kind of mindless form. I'm still not even sure what her personality will be like, either, besides some basic, positive traits. I gave her some core traits like being honest/diligent/affectionate/trustworthy/funny/etc, but have pretty much left everything else up to her. I just have to be confident that she'll become who she decides to become, and push past any doubts that I have that I'm doing something wrong (kind of the hardest part for me, it still worries me to no end thinking that she might not have developed a personality, but I know it isn't true). Anyways! About Dash's antics, what kind of relationship do you expect to have with her? I don't know if reinforcing that you want to just be friends (or not) would have an effect on her behavior, but I don't think it would hurt. Can she tell you what she wants?

I would ask for permission from the author, just to be extra-sure that they're okay with it (I'd imagine most would have no complaints about free advertisement, but you never know...). At the very least, make sure to tell them that you've made a video, and give them a link to it so they can view it if they want. I don't see anything wrong with putting more emotion and feeling into reading a piece, so long as it doesn't come off as melodramatic or overly silly. Why not have some fun with voices, and help the listener paint a more vivid picture of the scene in their head? Imagine, if you were blind, how you would feel listening to a guy/girl talking with the same tone throughout an entire story. Where would the monotony begin and end?
