@Dawnshine Wonder A huge thing about healing is that you're working towards changing your mindset. You can't change the kinds of tribulations you may face, but you can change how you deal with them. In time things that used to terrify you may not scare you as much and you may find strength where there was once weakness. I know what it's like to be haunted by traumas, it can really take a hold of you. It's not an easy thing to come out of, but it is manageable with the right help. I hope you get what you want out of therapy! I hope it helps you! Just remember that if you do get bad days even during the therapy, it doesn't mean all your days are gonna be bad. Life isn't this race towards perfection, it's very much a mix of ups and downs. You just have to take them as they come. Life does have a meaning, too, and that's really up to you what it is! You just have to ask yourself what you'd like to see in the world. --- I'm doing fine, just a bit tired from the work day. I will probably feel a little less tired after dinner.

Interesting... Part of it is definitely that I don't live with him so our time together is few and far between so in that regard, he is not there as much but that really can't be helped. He has done plenty of things for me before, it's not like he's just completely ignored me my whole life. --- I don't remember everything but I had a brief nightmare where my mom and stepdad were arguing and yelling and I took a break from hearing it by swimming in a giant pool we apparently had. The pool was nice but obviously the fighting, not so much.
