    To all my fellow Midwest-dwelling pones, please stay safe. With the vortex moving in, high temperatures will be in the negatives, and lows could be lethal. In places like Chicago it’s supposedly going to be roughly -50 something degrees Fahrenheit, and I shudder to think of what Minnesota or Michigan will have to deal with... :o 

    Bottom line, stay inside, don’t die, peace! :P

    So I just built my new gaming pc. :-D Already moved my games over from my old one and everything. It was a fun experience, and I learned a lot along the way. :)

    Buuuut I’m flat broke now. Which sucks. But oh well! :P

      As for the CPU temp, that's pretty weird. Did you check the temp in the BIOS? Are you using a stock cooler? 

      ...Did you forget the thermal paste? :sneer:

      Jokes aside, it could just be Speccy playing up, if your other program says your CPU is at a normal temp, I see no reason to worry. :yay:

      I’m using the stock cooler yeah, but it’s a good enough one, especially since I’m not overclocking. :) 

      And trust me, I stressed TOO MUCH about that thermal paste. :P Thankfully it seems to be working fine. (aside from speccy for some reason) :) 

      I have a few programs downloaded and they all show my core temperatures being just fine, whereas speccy shows my cpu temp as being extremely high. I’m just gonna assume speccy is being weird. :derp:

      @Rhythm Red Have you thought about setting up a Bandcamp artist account? It's really easy. You can give the option to buyers to purchase it in anything from the highest quality lossless FLAC format to plain old compressed mp3. And best of all, you can even set it up where people can name their price (anything from free to however much they want to give you)! It's a great tool for those who aren't really a full out artist/band. You should really try it. You can link it and everything etc.

    Today marks my one-year forumversary. And ohhhhh boy, has time flown by. Seems like just yesterday I first arrived here. I can’t believe it’s already been a year! :) 

    So, here’s to one year of Rhythm Red making stupid jokes on an Internet forum about pastel ponies! And hopefully, many more years will come! :P

    Hello, pones! :P 

    So I managed to back off on work for a while since I’m going to be awful busy coming up. That should free up a lot of time for me to do other things, such as guitar, skateboarding (while it’s still warm enough), and browsing these here forums, which is great! :D 

    However, I also just so happened to get 6 ingrown toenails. 3 of them are badly infected, which isn’t so great. :mlp_lie: Gotta go see a doctor ASAP!

     

    All that said, I wish a great thanksgiving upon those who celebrate it. And if you don’t, eat a lot of good food anyway, because why not treat yourself from time to time? :derp:

    Things have been a mixed bag for me recently. :mlp_please:

    On one hand, work’s been going well, my band’s been playing some gigs, and the holidays are coming up soon! :D 

    But on the other hand, my teachers have given me too much work outside of school, and I just happened to get in a minor accident after school the other day. Just a minor fender bender, nothing serious, and it wasn’t even my fault, thank goodness! :adorkable:
