Hey! An unexpected surprise has occured! I am not sure if it is just local right now, as I haven't seen any ads, but McDonald is selling Shamrock Shakes! In case you aren't familiar with a Shamrock Shake, it's a minty vanilla shake meant to be festive for Saint Patrick's Day... Which is in March, which makes this pretty odd. Anyways, onto the early review. I expected to post this about a month after the Donut Sticks, but they get to be first. The Shamrock Shake is sold at McDonald's annually, while supplies last. It replaces the Vanilla shake, at least it does here, and has a distinctive green color to it. Its unclear to me whether this is an artificial coloring of the drink, or from the flavoring itself. The Shamrock Shake is/will be available for a limited time only in the three sizes of small, medium, and large. Either way, its a delicious way to keep from being pinched for wearing no green on St. Patty's Day. If you like mint chip ice cream, I recommend this shake for you! Our location stopped selling 2 piece tenders, but employees can still buy it. If you mean upcoming foods, in my first blog post, I leaked the food item coming out later this month.

I know people almost always buy nuggets every second. Another good bestseller would be something like a double cheese or a mcchicken. Back when Glazed Tenders were a thing, those sold faster than we could make tenders. I've not heard of this. I didn't know the words were trademarked. Though my opinion on it is positive if it meant we could have Big Mac the farm pony. Nope, but there is a Panera right across from it. I always thought that was more of a meme than anything else. I've only seen it broken once in the time I've worked there. I remember, when it was a meme, people would always ask if it was broken.

Firstly, I’d like to thank everypony for commenting! I wasn’t expecting this many replies. @Venomous after seeing how food is made (I regularly cook the food in fact) I do not eat a lot of the food, but a few I still like. @Twilight Luna @Quinch the worst customer I have ever heard of us having was from a story from my manager. He said that he was requested up front at “front counter.” The customer was threatening him specifically because he got something wrong in his order. So he was barred from the restaurant lobby. For the best customer, I can’t really think of someone. Lots of people are nice @TBD more often than not, I work “back wall” and “grill” which is the fried chicken and fish area, and the meat grill. Everyone seems to hate it, but I find a sense of safety knowing where everything is. I do like the table position where you add the bun and box the back wall foods. I prefer not to work any of the postitions where I have to talk to people. Front counter, driveway, etc. @Snow le Canard for a while, minors were paid $8.25 at McDonald’s, but about 6-7 months ago we raised it to $9.50 because of competing restaurants pays for minors. For a 17 year old, I’m fine with my pay. @Altastrofae I've actually explained to a lot of my coworkers that one day, all of us would be replaced with machines. As McDonald’s would do anything to make food faster and make more money. I understand most fast food places will soon become that.

Since regular updates in this blog will be only once a month, I've decided it necessary to make an ask thread to answer any individual questions about McDonald's. Of course this blog will only be up for however long I work there. But I should be able to bring a few months more posts! Here is the link.

I'm excited for the reboot! Just around the 1 year anniversary of me joining the forums! Only 20 days give or take.

A while back, I sent a picture to my friends letting them know that in a few weeks there would be new, limited time only food at McDonald’s. This was the first on that list. Originally intended to start selling on the 30th, now is available for sale at my workplace. I’m not sure if this is in effect everywhere yet; I still haven’t seen any commercials. Anyways, here’s my first thoughts. Cheese on fries might sound good to most, but to me I believe that they don’t make a good combo. I don’t like how the cheese seeps into the fries as they sit— eat it while it’s hot! The cheese reminds me of the spray cheese that comes in a can just like whipped cream. The smoked bacon bits are pretty nice though. If you like bacon, and cheese, and you love McDonald’s fries, this is the perfect fill-up for you. Come back next month when I review Donut Sticks.
