Blu hears a whistling noise in the air and looks up. A pony is falling out of the sky? She thinks to herself. "Well Mister Solaire, we need to take out that dragon to save Shmarity. Do you have any other tricks up your sleeve?" Blu looks up again, they were almost to the ground. She brightens up with a new idea and turns to the dragon and steadies her horn. "Hope this works!" She says as she casts another beam of magic, this time at the dragon's wing. Both magic and arrow hit almost in sync and the dragon roars in pain. Blu gets a face of excitement, changing to worry. "I hope that changeling is okay." "PRAISE THE SUN" Solaire yells, this time not shooting a beam of light.

Roaaargh!!! The dragon roars in pain from the blinding light flailing all around, but kept a tight grip on the unicorn. The changeling kept a firm grip as well, making sure not to let the shaking break him loose of the dragon's back. Swatting at the light, the dragon manages to temporarily shield its eyes from the beacon the Solaire had shined. Though this bit of swatting was done with the opposite claw, it was providing Blu a window of escape. With a charge of her horn, she blasts a focused beam of magic at the dragons claw. "Haha! Take that you foul beast!" The dragon's hand opens and Blu falls out of it. Oh crap, I haven't mastered levitation yet. She thinks to herself in panic, but sees a place she can teleport to. Just as she was about to land, she flashes away, only to reappear just a few meters away. She looks up at the dragon still flying around. "That was close," looking at the knight, she thanks him for the blinding light.

The lavender unicorn was deep in thought as she ran towards the battlegrounds. "What do I do what do I do?" All at once, she skidded to a stop. "Aha! That's it! I can cast that spell, it should work. But I dont want to hurt anypony so... that's out of the question..." Turning away from the dragon, she tapped her hoof to her head. "Come on think! What can I do to help?" "Look out!" A voice cried too late as she was swept off of her hooves and into the air. The dragon had grabbed her.

Pony after pony flooded into the land of Spiketopia, everypony wanted a piece of the action. Running over the hill she sees the massive dragon in the sky. "Oh no Spike you are super big again!" Blu yells, noticing a changing was trying to land on the dragon.

That's the vibes I was getting from this too!

I do have to ask though, perhaps we should save our strength for the fight with Grogar. Why would either team waste their full strength knowing this?
