    Happy to have Astral by her side, Tree Song approached the tree and heard it whispering to her. She listened for a long moment, then addressed the group: "Listen everypony! The tree has more things to say to us. There will be two more gems, I'm not sure who they are meant for though..." She searched the area where the gems were found last time, and indeed there were two more: one deep grayish blue, and one glistening pinkish yellow. "Look! Here they are." She showed them to the rest of the group. "There is one more thing for me and @Astral Soul..." She took two flowers from @Princess Silky, and gave one to Astral. "Whisper a wish into it," she told him, and whispered her own wish so no one could hear it: (OOC: You can look into the spoiler and see the wish, if you dare.) "After that, we should exchange the flowers and make them into the tea," Tree Song explained.

    The changeling attack made Tree Song angry. What drove Chrysalis to attempt to ruin such a romantic gathering? Tree Song never liked changelings, and wanted to help fighting them, but it looked like the others were doing a pretty god job in this regard, so she decided to stay in the cottage with @Astral Soul and the others instead. "Some trees do have genders, but not this one, you can refer to it as 'it'." Tree Song explained. "The tree apologized for its behavior, and the flower in @Reality Check's mane is also a gift from it. It's good for making teas and protection potions." (OOC: Bringing this here from the other thread.) "You know, as a part of my druid education I travel a lot and I've heard all sorts of rumors... Some of them were hinting at you searching for this legendary artifact... I study the subject of magical objects and their properties, and this one sounds like something big indeed. Maybe someday we can search for it together?" --- Tree Song noticed that @Princess Silky went to check up on the tree, and decided to join her. "Are you going with us, @Astral Soul?" She asked politely.

    @Princess Silky After listening to the tree's response, Tree Song searched the area around its trunk. As the tree said, there were three gems hidden there. She picked them up, and caught up with the rest of the group, examining the cottage. "The tree has given us these lucky gems as a thank you gift for helping it. This one is for you, @Sophie H.." Tree Song gave her the yellow gem. "And this is for you, @Reality Check" Reality got a teal gem. "And I've got the purple one." She showed her gem for everypony to see. "The tree said you should keep them close."

    Tree Song related the tree's thanks to the others. But apparently there was still something wrong, something they should do... Also the gifts, what were they? What are these gifts? She sang to the tree, unsure if it would be still able to answer...

    Tree Song stepped up. There was clearly something wrong with the tree, and she was the one who could handle this. She began to softly sing a song, which sounded very unusual and mystical. There were no distinguishable words in it, but it felt like a soothing lullaby. She could hear the tree whispering back to her. "It's the symbols... they hold the key to freeing the tree..." She said loud enough for everypony on this side of the wall to hear.

Tree Song decided it was her turn to ask a question. "Actually, I heard about you before. It was something about a mysterious object called 'The Orb', can you tell me anything about it?" When not talking to Astral, Tree Song would occasionally perform her eerie humming, communicating with the nearby plants. She hoped it wouldn't weird out Astral too much...

I love plants, and my special talent is talking to them. Well, kind of. Actually it's more like singing, and they don't think or talk like us... it's hard to explain. As for the night sky, I like it too. When I'm going on expeditions with my teacher, we often camp in the wilderness, far from the city lights, which creates good conditions for observing the sky, and we do it often. So yes, I think we do have some things in common..." Then Tree Song noticed the princess approaching them. "It's an honor to meet you, @Princess Cadance. Thank you for organizing this for us."

Since there was still some time before the scavenger hunt, and Astral seemed a little shy, Tree decided she would be the one to start the conversation. "So, what can you tell me about yourself?" She asked with a friendly smile on her face.

      I seriously have no idea where people get the idea that looking stuff up isn't allowed in my games. It totally is! My games are meant to be easy, not challenging. Besides, it's not like I'd be able to tell who is cheating and who isn't. We're not in a classroom and I'm not the teacher looking over your shoulder. :ButtercupLaugh:

      And honestly, I have no idea what the answer is off the top of my head. :P For your sake, I will not look it up. I'll just let someone else try their luck.

    @Astral Soul There was a large crowd of ponies near the food tables, which wasn't exactly making Tree Song feel comfortable. But they all seemed very nice... Well, maybe there were a few exceptions, but the majority of them definitely did. Looking at the faces and comparing them to the picture in her invitation, she found the one she was paired with. He was talking to another pony, and Tree Song didn't want to interrupt them, but as soon as they finished talking, she addressed him politely. "Are you Astral Soul? I believe we were matched together in this event here..." He does look pretty handsome, Tree Song thought.

    Tree Song arrived at the party. The garden maze was the first thing that caught her interest, as it was full of exotic plants. It was a good occasion to utilize her special talent. For an outside observer, it sounded like she was humming softly to herself, but actually she was communicating with the plants. Only she could hear their answers to the song, and hearing them made her happy. The plants were well maintained, and all their needs were fulfilled. When she was done exploring the maze, she headed towards the areas where the ponies gathered, looking for her match, @Astral Soul.
