    Hope you all enjoyed the G5 thing. :kindness: I'm personally giving G5 a rest because all it's done so far is disappoint me so I don't want to be let down by another thing. :sunny: I'm very happy though for everypony who does like it. :rarity: It's just that I'm quite fussy with my MLP. :twismile:

      @TomDaBombMLP @Sven Seelenherz After seeing MYM again and watching the movie and TYT and playing the video game, I for one love G5

      Just because it’s not G4 shouldn’t be a reason to dislike it. It’s doing its own thing with new ponies and new places and in a new style. All the New 5 are wonderful characters, I love the new songs and locations, and the animations is usually pretty good.

       I’m excited for the future really!

      My problems with G5 are actually not related to G4 at all, @DivineFive1000 and @TomDaBombMLP.

      G5 is just not for me. The songs are not my type of music at all, I even despise radio music, charts and everything. You also have music you hate, right? Imagine listening to it, wouldn't it annoy you? That's how I feel about the G5 music.
      Then the pony designs (2D and 3D), I find them extremely ugly. They all have the same eyes, they are also too small and there is no variation with the eye lashes. And they all have weirdly shaped potato heads. To me they look like gremlins or something, I'm not kidding. Sorry, that's just how I feel about the designs. :coco:
      And then the "humor". I watched the first movie two times. And 4 TYT episodes. How often did I laugh? Not once.
      The story itself is not appealing to me either. It reminds me of other, similar movies, mainstream ones, which I didn't like at all. I don't like movies or cartoons in general. FiM was always an exception for me. I have other hobbies otherwise which I'm passionate about. :)

      It's all subjective for me, I just have an entirely different taste and interests, that's all. :) It's only by pure chance that I liked FiM and fell in love with it SO MUCH! :wub: I have other things I focus on, G5 simply doesn't give me anything. To spend time with something I don't even enjoy, of course it would be a waste of time.

      I'm definitely sorry for being so negative about it before. I want to be a positive person. It's in the interest of everypony that I just ignore all G5-related things. Not a single nice thing have I to say about it. It is not my type of content at all. But then again, the same is true when it comes to most cartoons, movies and music in general. I'm not into that normally.

      I try my best to avoid G5 and focus on people, topics and forums that are exclusively about FiM. That's why I joined this place to begin with, to share my love for FiM. :rarity: Since I can't relate to G5, to me it feels like as if most people here started to talk about Star Wars all of a sudden. Something that is not related at all. I know it's an MLP forum, but to me it always felt like an FiM forum. It was fun as long as it lasted, I guess. Most people move on, so I have to accept the change. I don't have a reason to ever move on from FiM personally, because I enjoy and love it, always will. :kindness: And on top of that: I'm only a FiM fan since 2 1/2 years, there is still so much to discover for me and new fan art every day! :wub:

      I will see this post as a closure. I was often very negative about G5, since I don't like it at all. But I dislike this about myself. I value honesty the most, but...sometimes it's better to be just silent, I think. I will focus on what I love and only on that. This way, i can be the best version of myself! :wub: I'm definitely happy for you and the others who enjoy G5, I just can't be a part of it, sorry. <3

    It seems to be any character who was only in one episode and didn’t make a lasting impression. There’s quite a lot of those, especially in the later seasons.
