    It’s impossible me for me to pick my favorite episode, but my least favorite is pretty simple: Non-Compete Clause from season 8, closely followed by 2,4,6 great from season 9. Those two episodes may be the only ones I never want to watch again.

    This small, adorable tomboy. It took me a while to have her as my best CMC and put AppleBloom on the second place. But after understanding her much better her through "Sleepless in Ponyville" and "Flight to the Finish" she had won the first place. This even got intensified with Parental Gliding and Washouts. This small tomboy won my heart and any break she needs and most important my membership in her fanclub!

    Fluttershy is adorable and she is the MLP character which got me hooked to start watching the show. I mentioned in my introduction that I suffered from shyness in my childhood myself so I can relate quite a bit. But the reason for me liking her so much, is the fact the creators gave her no easy solution for it. She works through her shyness a long time before she makes permanent progress and even then, she is quite distinct. Everyone who to struggle with shyness or even anxiety knows that this is nothing which can be turned on or off in an instant. To overcome this takes a long time and it only works in small steps. At the end of series, she has changed quite a lot. Yes, it took a long time, but is well earned. For giving all character’s character flaws to overcome with no easy solution is something I really appreciate in this show.

    At the moment I do not feel the desire to play much. I played a lot of Elders Scrolls, in general I tend more to strategy/simulation games like Civ, Moo, Anno, Stellaris etc. For MMOs I’ve played only Guild Wars 1 back in the day and some of its successor, but I stopped playing it.

    Thanks all for the warm welcome here *Muffins for all* @TomDaBombMLP Yes, the show makes me feel happy. MLP can teach much, even if the morals/lessons are not difficult and some people like me got them taught from their parents, but most of the adults in my professional life do not care for them. I really wish, the show was watched by more people. When I’m watching this show, I really have the feeling the creators wanted to teach those lessons to help children and make the world maybe a better place. It would have been so much easier just to go for the money as so many other things do … And this happened for a show born from a toy line. Well, do not judge a book by its cover! @Midnight Danny Thanks you too. Yes, it is and at least something positive from this pandemic in 2020

    There far too many of fav. episodes for me to select just a single one. I could give you one episode for every season, while still leaving out so many episodes which should be listed. But I exclude premieres and finales – this should be really a list of its own.     This episode is the first of the big anchors which bound me to the show. Due to the morale of this episode which played a big role for me in my days in kindergarten and elementary school beside flutterguy is hilarious even I was spoiled on it prematurely.

    The topic I had the most problems with it was English. I got that covered when in middle school I started to watch cartoons (and later movies) in original English language like Disney’s gummy bears for example. That is now 20 years ago and I can say it was very good starting point for improving my passive English. With the other subjects I had little to no issues. The most problems I had in school were of being the underdog in class because of living in a small town where my mother came from a big city. I got that also covered with time, but this took more time and effort.

    Well, I'm quite fond of magic. In RPGs I often choose magic, but in the case of MLP I would choose wings. The reason behind it is for my desire to just fly away from the current circumstances.

    Hi there I’m new here and I guess quite late to the party. I described my way into the show in the upper text. So far I have seen the series and I guess the movies (still kind unsure If I watched everything). From the MLP community I saw some bits and pieces so far but this quite unknown territory to me so far. So I hope I picked the right place with this forum My intention for joining is to have somebo .. uh some ponys to talk about the show. Please be patience with me, English is not my native language.
