    Do I have to make mention of A Royal Problem? I really personally dislike that episode, and would rather ignore it if you might allow it. I honestly think one of the comics handled the premise a lot better. On the rest, I can see what I can do in at least mentioning key events from the show. Honestly, I intentionally had the backstory stop right before the show pilot on purpose... partly so that I wouldn't have to constantly add to it and because those who have seen it would know of said events.

    @bigbertha Thank you, exactly my thoughts! More, I felt the comic did a part better job at pulling off this plot and was more entertaining.

    Glad to have you join, sorry for not saying anything sooner. I have been a bit busy with Open Enrollment for the Federal Marketplace going on, and in helping people re-enroll or otherwise assist them involving their health insurance. It has left me with a fair bit of stress and distraction. I will see about checking Discord though and we can perhaps help you get started.

    If everyone is fine with such, I feel D&D 5e may be better for new players and in general to help keep down complexity of rules. I love Pathfinder as a system, with its choices and variaty, but there is merit to what Wizards of the Coast has done as well. Whichever each of you are fine with.

    @Buck Testa Hmm, well we surely could do everything on Roll20, though perhaps only if we could have a record of the party's travels, misadventures, and shenanigans posted here on MLP Forums that way something is being contributed to the site. Especially since by site rules it could be interpreted as "advertising" for off site roleplaying, or otherwise diverting traffic from it. Yet I will admit, perhaps I am simply worrying too much and bothering with details which are not needed to be considered.

    Well I will see to setting up a group chat on Discord then, once I figure out how. I admittedly have less experience on that platform compared to Skype. Also, thank you all for your interest and for your time, hopefully we can find a schedule that works though my days off are Friday and Sunday. Glad to see that you are still interested, and my apologizes for causing you to think with had died.

    Well it would matter how we do this. I would like to keep a fair bit of the posting here on the site, with much of the roleplay taking place on MLP Forums, and mostly keeping Discord for Out of Character discussions, planning, or dice rolling. More Play by Post then using the likes of Roll20 or other chat focused roleplaying, though this admittedly takes more time to get through a scenario... especially during battles. So no set schedule, just whenever each party member can post. At the same time, I understand the preference of wanting to just pick a day to roleplay and spending of few solid hours focusing on the game. More so when it is through voice chatting and the benefits of such sites as Roll20 or even just Discord, allowing the game to progress much more quickly. For this, it will matter the conscientious among the players and whether or not they would be willing to try keeping MLP Forums as the main platform for roleplaying.

    I could set up a Discord or we can set up a chat on Skype, but I would like the actual roleplaying to take place here as much as possible. At least in part, as I want to start growing more active on MLP Forums. Like if any dice rolling is needed we can do that on Discord, but then post out the results here on the site.

    Actually, that makes D&D 5e a really good fit when it comes to which tabletop to play. The reason being, because of how a lot of the game mechanics were actually made to be a lot more streamline or even perhaps a bit simplified compared to the complexity and versatility of either D&D 3.5 or Pathfinder... Which can be overwhelming for new players, if enjoyable for more experienced roleplayers. Again, the link above provides all the resources that would really be needed counting the Player's Handbook that gives the basic rules and the Ponyfinder resources as well. Sure I'd love to have the both of you join, just look things over and decide which class you want to play. If you need help knowing where certain races are, let me know and I can tell you which book to look in.

    If there's an Theory a human version of all the other characters, there should logically be a human version of Sunset somewhere. Yet in consideration, perhaps while one Sunset went to the human world the other went to the pony world. Just a thought, as it is one consideration.

    What is interesting, and it admittedly probably the only way reforming Discord could work, is with Fluttershy being an unmistakable example of the Morality Pet trope. This one trope very strongly defines their relationship.

    Oh yeah, I really should bring up the draconequus in the room. Discord's relationship with Fluttershy is an odd mix of positive or negative for me, buried under my own bias that he shouldn't have been reformed and made a better villain. There have been a lot of good episodes between the two, even I can't deny this, the same time though I cannot help but wonder at times if their relationship is actually that healthy. Particularly when it comes to its foundation, and in how Discord generally "behaves" largely because he doesn't want to upset Fluttershy. Then there is that dangerously jealous boyfriend aspect that showed itself during the second Gala episode with Tree Hugger and how he nearly tossed the mare into another dimension... which actually goes into another aspect of my view of the two characters. My disagreement of him being shipped with Fluttershy, or even Princess Celestia. I just don't see him being more than a friend to the nature-loving mare, or more then a friend to any pony.

    With one major exception, I'd say that the episodes of late have done a great job of showing Fluttershy's progression showing that over time she has grown more confident while still quiet and soft-spoken. She isn't my personal favorite, but characters like her are often ones that I tend to enjoy. Filli Vanilli is that major exception that I mentioned above. The crippling fear of other people watching her sing/ stage-fright that she didn't have until this episode and hasn't really had since. That even if you can't count all the times they are shown singing is something they are actually did, there were at least a few times it should count. The Hearth's Warming Eve episode being the big example, I need to see in front of others as Private Pansy but then singing as well in front of everyone without issue.

    I'm actually go with a variant of the last theory mixed in with the first. That while the Sunset Shimmer from Equestria might not have actually killed his humor counterpart, she very well might of gone and sent her off somewhere else so that she could take her place. At least that is one idea I could offer.

    I still have a few slots open, perhaps even more if those who had shown interest before. On the use of "custom" spells... possibly though only with approval. If you take a spell and simply change damage type, shape, similar effect, or other details which are comparable to the original. We can most this to Roll20, though I may not have access to a working computer until November 10th so there may be a bit of await for such. On whether we use Skype or Discord, matters what the players have an account to. I gave both, so either works fine. ----------- Also, I will be updated the list of available races. I have added Tactics of Everglow to the Google Drive, which actually add dragon ponies and kitsune style race... Also a panda race, though I have yet to decide if I'm going to allow the race.

    It would have been better without Starlight, though even the premise left me frustrated. At the very least for Celestia, in her somehow not appreciating Luna despite them being apart for a thousand years. With her guilt and sorrow in that one thousand years, particularly because it was Luna not feeling appreciated that she became Nightmare Moon. Of how the Summer Sun Celebration was moment a painful reminder then a time to celebrate. I immediately questioned even the consideration of Celestia not appreciating Luna. Plus, the two switching places and "jobs" was done far better in the comics.

    Greetings, I am seeking artists who might be willing to provide me designs for a few OCs I am trying to put together. I have character concepts put together for this OCs, but really nothing when it comes to appearance.or even color scheme. As such, I am opening the floor to artists that are able and willing to help a Brony out in comping up with such. Whatever designs and color schemes they feel inspired to make. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- A few baseline rules: I am looking for pony designs, both for a stallion and mare, one or both of which will be from Neighpon. One which pony race they are, isn't as important there with preference for a unicorn or qilin/kirin for the stallion if the artist thinks they could design such. Mane and tail, coat color, and even cutiemark are open for whatever the artist comes up with as long as I can fit a special talent and story of how they got the cutiemark. Apart from the above, it is the artist/s choice. Thank you.
