  1. Mind doing my OC? Here's some reference pictures:
  2. Soo umm I forget who had the original avatar, but why does everyone have this avatar of a light blue character with blue hair with white highlights? I've seen it around but cannot remember whose avatar it originally was....

  3. I want to see your bootiful computer cases. Here's mine to start with.
  4. Sean Ash is at channel 13 now (or at least from what I remember), and the rest are still at their respective channels. Haven't heard of the name Steve Bray in forever though.
  5. I haven't given any actual blood before (except for blood tests), though I'd imagine it's an interesting experience. My dad has to give quite a bit of blood sometimes for medical reasons.
  6. It was a Reddit comment about Bernie Sanders, making a communism joke. It's not really appropriate to share here, so I won't. * I supported Bernie Sanders in the election, so don't get after me.
  7. I had no idea you were Polish. *needs to check profiles more* Welcome to the site @The Silver Cheese! I'm Cloggedone, a 5-year veteran of the website and former staff member. I would love to answer any questions you feel are appropriate to be answered by a non-staff member! Be sure to read the Guidelines, and most site questions should go in Site Questions and Tech Support (in the Canterlot section). I've linked them both for you. Thank you for joining! If you wanna talk, stop by sometime!
  8. The ting goes SKRRAAA

    1. CheeryFox

      CheeryFox

      The ayyyyyyy goes lmao! :P

  9. I usually have only no more than 8 open at a time. I don't like crowding up my tab list, I want to be able to find what I have open quick. I also used to not have many tabs open due to Firefox's horrible RAM management, but now that Quantum is out, I may try having more tabs. You?
  10. When I'm ready to move out of my parents house and go to my own apartment, I was thinking of getting an older small dog, because they wouldn't be as energetic as a young dog, and I would be able to handle them better. I always thought Corgis look cute:
  11. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warren_Buffett He's a super rich dude, leads a conglomerate called Berkshire Hathaway, who own a bunch of companies. (Dairy Queen, GEICO, owns large shares in Heinz, American Express to name a few).
  12. Famous in the local area: Kevin Gregory - Meteorologist for our ABC affiliate in Indianapolis (for quite a long time). Every year, he does a Christmas toy drive, going around to schools to shoot a segment of all the toys the school donated. He came to my school in 5th grade for such thing.
  13. Indianapolis is famous for the Indianapolis 500, as well as a number of sports teams (Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Pacers, etc). But, if you were to consider the suburb I live in (Carmel), it's our love for roundabouts: https://www.inverse.com/article/34337-carmel-indiana-might-forever-be-america-s-roundabout-kingdom
  14. Heeeey! That's pretty good!

  15. Haha yeah, Q95. Don't listen to them much, but I know they're owned by the same company that butchered X103 a few years back. I found a stream of 105.1 an hour ago. It's apparently based off the third HD signal of Radio Now 100.9 (WNOW) and is relayed on a low-power translator: https://www.radionomy.com/en/radio/1051indianapolis/index
  16. So excited to start my new job in a few days! I learn more tomorrow, but I start on the 29th. Cannot wait! :)

  17. I had no single favorite (I would play everyone) but I liked Sniper.
  18. Back when I was tech staff here, I learned we had quite a bit hosted on our equipment (but still very powerful), though even with all that power, we still have some slowdowns. All I can say is to wait for a little bit, and if it doesn't resolve in a little bit, contact a tech staff member with some diagnostic tests (speed tests, your ISP, ping test, etc), and see if they know anything. I get a pretty fast connection 90% of the time (my ISP is Spectrum/Charter), which is also accelerated our DNS provider, CloudFlare.
  19. Version 57 of Firefox came out on November 14, known as Firefox Quantum, and has some dramatic changes from older versions of Firefox. Some of those changes make the browser similar to Chrome, but with the code base of Firefox still there. I'll leave a link here about the changes, but if you have it installed, what do you think of it so far? I like the new look of Firefox. Personally, I thought the old look was clunky and rather tacky, especially the drop-down menu which had way too much spacing. It now looks more minimal. It's like a mix of the best of Firefox's look and the best of Chrome's look. Plus, I haven't really noticed a lot of slowdowns like I did on Firefox after running for a long time (possibly due to Firefox transitioning to multi-process). https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ https://blog.mozilla.org/blog/2017/11/14/introducing-firefox-quantum/
  20. Glad to hear another one that likes RD's tail cause of that.
