  1. I know this rp is currently having leadership issues, but are you still accepting new ponies? It's been forever since I've participated in an rp, so I'm going to be a bit rusty. Hope that isn't too much of a problem. This seems like fun.
  2. Not every pony looks good as a teenager... Poor poor Cherilee. She has the whole "hot teacher" going for her now, but as a teenager? *shudders*
  3. Minty. I watched a few older MLP seasons for the lulz. (Much more tolerable with commentary by Poney Pokey, you should check them out!) She's really the only character that stood out to me. She's charming for a lot of the same reasons as Derpy. Seriously, I don't think this poor pony can do ANYTHING right. Plus, SOCKS!!! She definitely had that going for her.
  4. Well, the alcoholic part is purely fanon. Derpy isn't really travelling with Doctor Whooves. She isn't actually a single mother. She might not even be a mailmare (even if the comics definitely point to that being the case)! I think people are capable of separating the fan's MLP world and the official one. They have so far.
  5. She was, but just as a regular background pony. She was a part of the angry mob asking Twilight to take care of the Pinkie Problem.
  6. Oh yay. Another reason not to watch Douche.0. I never thought he was funny, but I used to respect people who did. Now I can't bring myself to. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/07/10/daniel-tosh-rape-joke-laugh-factory_n_1662882.html
  7. I'm sure everyone was a bit surprised by Season 3's distinct lack of everyone's favorite cross-eyed Pegasus. All we have so far is the same train cameo in the opening from last season and a speculated head. Perhaps the animators have moved onto a new game for us? Berry Punch is obviously not a Crystal Pony, so what is she doing here in the Crystal Empire? I would be perfectly happy to have more out of place appearances of everyone's favorite alcoholic background pony.
  8. I don't think it was a coincidence that every since Crystal Pony was an Earth Pony. They were all completely unique designs for that episode. The animators worked really hard on making the Crystal Ponies separate from the typical background ponies.
  9. I didn't see Crystal Ponies as a completely separate race, more like a sub-race or breed of Earth pony. We have to remember that, before the events leading to the founding of Equestria, the pony races were all segregated. Since time lines don't make much sense in FIM (WTF is up with the reoccurring 1,000 year/100's of year old stories? Give us an actual date system!), Sombre's reign might have taken place before Earth ponies, Pegasi, and Unicorns interacted with each other. It's my head cannon that Sombre being a Unicorn is what allowed him to take over so easily. A breed of peaceful Earth ponies would be easy for a Unicorn to rule over. I was surprised how okay the Crystal Ponies were with the appearance of the Mane Six, Shining Armor and Cadence.
  10. I think at one point or another, Pinkie Pie annoys all of her friends. Even if they are good friends, I think this show demonstrates that it's okay to not like absolutely every aspect of every one of your friends. Pinkie Pie was the character I had the most hard time with getting to like. I think I've learned to appreciate her now.
  11. Huh, I see a lot of the same episodes popping up on everyone's list. While I'm not a fan of fashion, MLP manages to make the episodes worth watching, IMO. Either awesome songs, Fluttershy adorableness, or introducing awesome characters, they still manage to be gripping. As for my least favorite, Baby Cakes. Not the only baby sitting episode, but the most obnoxious. No hidden Derpy or CMC nonsense to keep it engaging. Instead we have a brief exploration of how the races work in Equestria followed by a rather dull episode, especially for a Pinkie Pie episode. The first five minutes were the only part worth watching.
  12. I do agree with above posts. Chrysalis is often overlooked, but definitely worth mentioning. I think it is also worth noting how awesome of a fandom this is. Talking about the attractiveness of cartoon horses without it being awkward? Hell yeah.
  13. I'm glad to see some positive things about this game. I've heard so much negativity... But really, it's a fun game. Once they fixed the problems with Android social networking, it's actually playable now. A good time waster, and PONIES. Maybe one day I'll make it to Rainbow Dash, but honestly I'll probably get bored of it before I get to that point anyway. My name is LillyBlossomForth. Add me.
  14. I've done a lot of scouring of information you gave us, and I would just like to say thanks for what you're doing! I almost hope Hasbro does catch wind of what's going on here. Maybe then they will realize just how much they're missing out on. We Bronies are very profitable, and they're only barely scratching the surface with products such as Hot Topic lines and Derpy toys. Plushies are by far the biggest fan-made sellers, and the demand is INCREDIBLE. Plushies like yours pictured sell from anywhere between $150-250 on Ebay. The princesses have always been very good sellers. I doubt you will come to much harm legally. I have an awesome high quality Crackle plushie that's a part of a line that NO ONE can identify where they're coming from. Probably someone else working under professional nonlicensed means. My only question before I sign onto this project. Could we get a picture of her cutie... Er, I mean her cute moon-marked rump? EDIT: Also, congrats on making your goal!
  15. I am disappointed that Vinyl Scratch and Octavia aren't even on this list. Come on guys, really? Just look at those two! They definitely have my vote.
  16. This makes me want to grab up a bunch of the ones at my Walmart and sell them on Ebay for the cost of shipping. Are they really that hard to find?
  17. Dainty Daisy! That has to be her. Thank you so much. Also, that was a good warning to post, Pachirisu. I knew what I was getting into, and I ended up being very satisfied with my cheap little unreleased pony. I would definitely second your concern for most things sold by Chinese ebay companies. This pony definitely has enough Hasbro markings to convince me that she's official, just unreleased.
  18. I think the painting errors are a factory defect. The seller had a few others of the same variety and the cutie mark is definitely the original, so not a custom. My best guess is that she's going to be a wave 6+ pony. She was being sold alongside the Zecora, Applebloom, and Diamond Tiara minis. Flower Basket is a really cute name. Simple, but it works!
  19. I recently purchased a blindbag pony from a Chinese seller who offers several unreleased and rare pony toys, and she finally came in today! I have been unable to find this particular pony anywhere else, and I was hoping someone might be able to tell me her name. Anyone have any idea who this little earth pony is? A previous gen rerelease? If not, I would love to hear some name ideas for her. Her mane is really more of a purple than the picture makes it out to be.
  20. No, it's not a plushie. And no I didn't make it. It's a picture of a foam figure I found while searching for good reference material for both Vinyl and Octavia. I wish I knew who made it. Both figures were really well done. Thanks for the info!
  21. Thanks for the welcome! I'm still trying to figure out how to navigate this place... Is there some sort of an artist corner around here somewhere?
  22. Hello! I'm excited about joining a forum community based on such an amazing series. I'm still relatively new to the fandom, but I've now seen every episode and own plenty of MLP merch. Also, Equestria Daily's recent NATG II has pushed me towards drawing more. Maybe this will be an outlet for my creations (even if they aren't so great).
  23. Actually, the CMC calling Scootaloo a chicken and other flightless birds seems pretty terrible due to her lack of flight. I'm not sure if the speculation that Scootaloo was supposed to be a grounded peagasus with a real disability is true or not, but either way it seems to be a case of kids being unintentionally cruel.
