I think the other thing I love is that AJ as "royalty" is definitely one of the more interesting fish-out-of-water scenarios for the Mane 6. I mean, any of them as royalty would be (well, except for maybe Rarity), but IDK, AJ just really works in that role for some reason, least for me.

Oh yes, that fanfic by Mister Friendly. It's great, and one of the only fics that I regularly follow. Only problem with it is Applejack's annoying accented dialogue, but other than that, great plot.
