I'm flattered OP, but I'm just not ready for that kind of commitment right now. There's just too much going on in my life at the moment.

I honestly thought Rainbow Dash was a girl when I started watching the show back in 2011. Fortunately I got him figured out after a few seconds!

In the Mare in the Moon , in the fires of Mons Agnes, the Dark Lord Luna forged in secret, a master element, to control all others. And into this element she poured all her cruelty, her masochism and her will to dominate all life. One element to rule them all. One by one, the free ponies of Equestria fell to the power of the Element. But there were some who resisted. A last alliance of Unicorns and Pegasi marched against the armies of the Mare in the Moon, and on the very slopes of Mons Agnes, they fought for the freedom of Equestria. Victory was near, but the power of the Element could not be undone. It was in this moment, when all hope had faded, that the alicorn Celestia, daughter of the king, took up her father's sword. And Luna, enemy of the free ponies of Equestria, was defeated. The Element passed to Celestia, who had this one chance to destroy evil forever, but the hearts of alicorns are easily corrupted. And the Element of Power has a will of its own. It betrayed Celestia, to her downfall. And some things that should not have been forgotten were lost. History became legend. Legend became myth. And for a thousand years, the Element passed out of all knowledge. Until, when chance came, the Element ensnared a new bearer. The amulet came to a shopkeeper Tom, who took it deep into the tunnels beneath the floorboards of his shop, and there it consumed him. The Element gave to Tom unnatural long life. For five hundred years it poisoned his mind; and in the gloom of Tom's store, it waited. Darkness crept back into the forests of the world. Rumor grew of a shadow in the sky, whispers of a nameless fear, and the Element of Power perceived. Its time had now come. It abandoned Tom. But then something happened that the Element did not intend. It was picked up by the most unlikely creature imaginable. An illusionist, Trixie Lulamoon of the Magician's Alliance. For the time will soon come when magic tricks illusions will shape the fortunes of all...

Wow, I never actually thought about this fandom like that before. I'm going to change my ways and stop being a brony because of that video. Thanks for sharing it with me, I've been saved!
