The appearance is a bit unoriginal as pony creator-designed ponies mostly are. Though a nice touch on the pink, which is a colour many OC-makers avoid like the plague despite it being a popular canon pony colour. That adds to the originality. But I have to subtract many points from the whole "horn changes colour depending on mood" thing. Things like that are often considered Mary Sueish traits, and are detrimental to a character. Not to mention that a unicorn's magical colour, barring animation mistakes, is always consistent on the show. There's not even anything to suggest WHY she has this ability or properly explain it. Her special talent is unrelated.

 

Lastly, being in love with canon characters is a rather big no-no in my opinion. OCs and canon characters usually mix together very badly.

Well since you asked... The arm size is tight, the middy collar doesn’t go with the shawl lapel, the hems are clearly machine-stitched, the pleats are uneven, the fabric looks like toile, you used a backstitch here when it clearly called for a topstitch or maybe a traditional blanket stitch and the overdesign is reminiscent of pret-a-porter and not true French haute couture.... but other than that it's... nice...

Judging on design, I would have to say that I enjoy your colour scheme and mane. On backstory? I'm quite amused by how you took real life sports and ponified them. Cloudsdale Red Wings is such a cool name. Further, I enjoy your explanation of the cutie mark's aspects. which allows me to understand it better. Though I think it's a bit odd to use specific earth years in a backstory, I won't deduct points for that because it isn't all that bad.

 

The only thing I'll have to deduct some points is kind of how you seemed to have forced the sports theme a bit too much into the form of a pony, which makes her not mesh into Equestria as well.

Very... morbid backstory. I personally am not a fan of morbid things in MLP, as it doesn't fit the setting well.

 

The cutie mark is a nice touch though, and the colours are adequate, though not the most copacetic.

I just love this character; an emotional backstory, the old 'left alone' story with your own twists, and the ability to point out your own imperfections. Above all, she seems like a nice pony to hang out with
