ooc Journey to the Higher Plane (Adventure RP inspired by elements from The Hobbit)

It is said that there is another realm of existence, an entirely different world within this world, said to be ruled by divine beings whose powers are rumored to be greater than that of alicorns themselves. So it was that Starswirl the Bearded, one of Equestria's greatest contributors to the world of magic, set off to find a rumored ancient gate located at "The very edge of Equestria, where all life ceases, and time has no
meaning" , only to have passed on leaving countless years of research tucked away in some secret place...

When Raze (my OC) accidentally discovers an underground lab in the Everfree belonging to none other than Starwirl the Bearded himself and his reasearch on this so called "higher plane of existence", he is slightly surprised; for it is written in Starswirl's research that "according to ancient literature and mythology on the subject, any mortal from this plane of existence who travels and finds this realm shall be generously rewarded by its inhabitants: with that of which he/she most desires. Say it and it shall be so. Alicorns, however, receive something much greater: to ascend to greatness, beyond that of alicorn power, to achieve the existence of Divine."

And with that, Raze runs into Ponyville, seeking others to help him with this "lucrative business offer". The path shall be dangerous, but the rewards, sweet.


(If you've seen the Hobbit movies or read the book, then you know a bit of what to expect from this adventure!)

Rules:
1. No Godmodding
2. No Mary Sues and the like
3. Keep it PG-13
4. Not too much violence. There will be VERY RARE times when fighting with magic creatures and stuff like that, but don't be too graphic! Keep like "The Hobbit" movies' style of combat.
5. Have fun!

NOTE: Anyone with an alicorn OC is highly encouraged to join with said OC! Not too many alicorns, though.

@, Sounds like a fun RP! Could I join with my OC Clover? She's a newly ascended alicorn and still unsure in her new role of Princess of Magic. I usually RP her as a unicorn cuz I never saw any RPs were alicorns were encouraged. XD

Well, this isn't really an rp where everyone's gonna die; it's like a lighthearted adventure type thing with rare instances where you'll fight magic creatures like golems and possibly a crystal dragon (yes, there will be a crystal dragon in this, I still need to plan that out) , so, I'll accept you, as long as you understand that.
