Do you ever wish you could have a friendship like the mane six?

As name implies, do you ever wish your friendship with your friend was as strong as the mane six? Their friendship is pretty much how you do a friendship. They trust each other and barely argue. And when they argue, they usually get over it. Sadly, most friendships I see end up in drama.

I kind of have a friendship like that.  We never really argue, just kinda tease each other about things (like beating each other at pokemon or one of us failing a class or something).

Kind of. The drama, pointless arguments, and random disagreements do usually make for some hilarious and nostalgic memories later on though (as long as the friendship doesn't dissipate over said drama)

I'd love to have a friendship were we travel around the world and stop evil villains with our wmd's and the power of friendship.

 

 

And as much as I'd love to have a group of friends like the mane 6, in our supremely imperfect world, I just think it would be odd to have a friendship like that. That endures against all odds, and always seems to work itself out in 22 minutes.

I did oddly enough, back when I first started watching the show. I soon realised that I probably wouldn't ever be able to have what they have and it began to really make me worry about my future for some reason....but that's completely irrelevant

 

That actually all changed shortly after I found my way here, I don't feel jealous of them anymore strangely enough. I feel...like I'm not alone in the world anymore, that's what their friendship has really managed to teach me.

 

And of course that's all thanks to the fantastic friends that I love and whom I've met here, so thank you all

I more or less do have a friendship like that. We mostly talk about games and music but he's a form of emotional support for me and strange as it is he actually likes me more than most people. It's proof that age means nothing to friendship. I'm 23, he's mid-30s. We both love video games and metal the same amount.

I don't know. It would be nice, but as Miaq said, it would be weird to have a friendship where everything is back to normal in 22 minutes. I feel that going through hard times with friends will make you stronger, and it just doesn't make sense in our world to fix problems so quickly.

 

That aside, who wouldn't want a strong friendship?

I already have some friends, that I have a more different friendship with than the mane six, but I wouldn't want it any other way. You can't pursue a friendship into something or a way that you want, sometimes you'll have to let it flow naturally and see how it'll end, and sure it might be different then how you would perceive a perfect friendship should be but it functions and it opens up your ways of seeing things, so I'm fully content with my friendships right now.

Perhaps, I don't share much in common with most of my friends so we just talk about anything, I don't spend much time hanging out or talking to them and I only somewhat trust a few.  My closest friend is my pet cat that never argues with me and trusts me enough to eat whatever I feed him, what we have in common is that we both like to black out more during the times that we are alive so that we don't remember the lives that we had, there, because cats like to sleep.
