movies/tv Favorite Show That Ended Prematurely

Also, I never watched Dan Vs. until after it was axed...holy s@h*t, I love that show.

Died way too young.

How coud I forget that one? It is the Hub's best show aside from MLP, I love that cynical spiteful little bastard. What makes that show even more hilarious for me personally is just how much Dan reminds me of the same friend who introduced me to ponies, he isn't as violent or destructive as Dan but it is scary how much they have in common.

I haven't seen the end of it, yet, but from what I've heard through rumors, there is another season being made.

I hope so,i felt it cut off with a ton of unanswered questions.  :fiery:

There was a claymation show that aired right before Celebrity Death Match called Gary and Mike. It was incredibly funny but only lasted 13 episodes, due to being unfortunate enough to air during Smackdown's last quarter.

And of course, Invader Zim. Especially with the proposed storyline that was supposed to happen. That would have been a great way to end the series.

My Name Is Earl. He never got to finish his list...What's worse is that it said "To be continued..." at the end of the final season and never returned

This is more of a movie series but, Hot Wheels : Acceleracers, It ended on such a cliffhanger! Vert finds his father is working for the silencers! They manage to find all of the rings, what now!

A large portion of the shows I like can be put under this category

Firefly, Pushing Daisies, Invader Zim...Gah, there's more that I can't think of right now. I might add them later.

YES!!!! So glad some one else knows of this wonder of a show! (there is talk to make a musical of this)

And in the same lines as Pushing Daises...Wonderfalls! Written by the same guy (Bryan Fueller...same genius behind Dead Like Me, as well). Really interesting concept, but executed very well. I read what the had planned beyond the 1st season and it leaves me with so many questions.

EDIT: still learning this website.....on like page 4 some one mention Pushing Daises.

I was trying to reply to that. Don't know if I succeeded. ..will try and fix when I get home and not sneaking posts fueled by boredom at work.

Space: Above and Beyond would be the classic here. It had a lot of good points, a lot of unique ideas or ideas done in new ways, and it was dramatic and exciting. But it died...

I know It's probably been said a bunch, but FIREFLY! The movie wasn't a very good ending. THEY KILLED OFF WASH, DAMMIT!

I haven't thought of any of those movies in years, I think I still have some of the DVDs floating around, though. It did leave quite a few loose ends.

Futurama. It was one of the best shows on television at the time, and is still in my top ten favorite animated shows.

Rarity is the best thing in my life.

Where would I be without her? Nowhere I'd like to be, that's for sure.

Spectacular Spider-Man. I know why it ended, because of the Marvel/Disney buyout, but still, the cancellation of that show really hit me like a train.

It hurt even more when Ultimate Spider-Man is the most insulting show ever made. Fuck you, Marvel. -_-

Invader Zim and Robot and Monster.

RaM is much better than Breadwinners in my opinion...

YAY! Someone else who likes Robot and Monster! I really love that show, and REALLY hope it gets renewed for a second season with at least SOME recognition to it. I definitely would've mentioned it if I was sure it was cancelled.

Invader Zim definitely, wtf Nick :okiedokielokie:

My Name is Earl is also another pretty good show that ended horribly unfortunately.

Sometimes it's best just to not watch a show unless it's a sure thing going, I guess.

AAANNNDDD I don't know 90% of those lists mention.

Seriously, though. I know Firefly is called a good show that they have their own fandom, but how good is good? Also, am i the only one here that doesn't realize that Samurai Jack and Megas XLR ended up prematurely, despit I saw a lot of episodes of it.

Sonic Underground.

Just damn, only 40 episodes in. Didn't even come to an ending cause it got booted off for low ratings! :(

I actually loved it...

Cod Lyoko. One of the best shows ever.

Chowder. Such a shame, I rather miss watching that little cat-bear-rabbit

Ouran High School Host Club. I'm aware that this aired in other countries not in the US, and its an anime. I love it to death, but I do have some beef with how it ended compared to the manga.

*SPOILERS. DONT READ ANY FURTHER IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO WATCH IT, OR HAVE STARTED WATCHING IT!*

I was sorta relieved yet displeased that the anime didn't show a cliche kiss between Haruhi and Tamaki. I guess this is where the manga comes in to relieve my fangirling.

I wasn't dissapoint at the ending because there was no physical interaction, but was displeased because they showed very little chemistry in the anime like you'd wish. And then it ends with Haruhi basically talking to the viewer and that's it. I felt that instead of ending it, they could've made room for an another potential season.

*END OF SPOILER*

It rubbed me the wrong way because it felt bland and a bit too rushed. It was sweet! But bland.

That's just me though....if anyone else here likes this anime, I apologize. >.< I just wasn't satisfied.

SpongeBob won't end. It will never end. Not even if it gets as bad as what I've heard the Ren and Stimpy Adult Party Cartoon is. Nickelodeon will just be those same idiots they always are.

And they broke the fourth wall while still being incredibly humorous. That's just great.
