gaming MLP Gameloft App Won't Load

The MLP Gameloft app I have on my Android device crashes after the "Hasbro Gaming" screen. Sometimes it makes it to the loading screen then crashes. I've worked so hard on this game, and I've been playing ever since I got my tablet. I don't want to have to restart the whole game, especially considering the fact that I am but a few gems away from getting Rainbow Dash. Also, my dad has a password lock on the tablet and he refuses to let me buy gems. The customer service lady wasn't very helpful. All she did was tell me to go to their support site. So I did, and I haven't got any response yet. Can someone PLZ help me fix my problem?

That happened to me once. Lost everything. Here's what I recommend:  Find an app that can back up your data, and re-install the game.

@zyxcff, is unfortunately correct. Since Gameloft does not use a cloud save feature, you would need to use either a 3rd party application or do a direct command prompt pull and push of your save file using the Android Developer features found in Android SDK and its associated components. I posted this process on another help thread request and it is moderately complicated, and requires knowledge of how to put your device into USB Debug mode and connect to your PC.

 

I also assume you closed out all background apps, checked your wi-fi connection, did a restart, etc first and none of that helped. Also I did run into a situation which the save file was corrupted on an emulator when I was trying to duplicate the issue that you and two other users on this board were facing. In that case, it was the cause of the launch screen crash.

 

If you think you are savvy enough to play with Android SDK ... I'll give you the info you need. Otherwise it's best to keep on Gameloft support.

Well If I may make a suggestion, The game's (or app's) facebook page should be another way to post your feedback and see if they can come with another solution. If you care about your save data, I don't know what are the possible solutions to your problems. They do have support there so you might as well find the solution to your problems. here's their facebook page, but they also have support tag there on the side of the page

I had a similar issue for months. Had to wipe my phone and re-install and then it was fixed. Normal Delete everything and re-install didn't work.
