This server just RE-OPENED on the 5th, it was closed because of lack of donations and DDOsing. So if you could join, and maybe donate, that would be great!!!

If you guys are still having issues with the server cost and DDoS attacks, it could be time for you to take a look at using different infrastructure such as a VPS (first paragraph below) or dedicated server (second paragraph below) which you can configure yourself.

 

I can recommend OVH's Cloud VPS services for a relatively cheap server which is deployed with free-of-charge shared DDoS protection up to 480Gbps. The link is here: http://www.ovh.com/us/vps/vps-cloud.xml

I don't recommend their cheaper VPS Classic range as it is possible for OVH to oversell their Classic range as their Classic range runs on OpenVZ as opposed to ESXi.
