For the sake of chaos I'm gonna do what nopony should ever do. I'm gonna take a deck of playing cards and take out one of the jokers. "What dark purpose could that possibly serve" you ask? Well, I've just created the 53 card deck, and who other than me could find a use for something like that. And if I pulled a card out of this 53 card deck at random and don't care about the number we suddenly have two mysteries on our hands. Which of the 4 suits could it be or, if it's a joker, which of the 2 jokers is it? Remember, I didn't tell you which one I took out so it could still be either one.

 

And from this rather long and sidetracked card monologue, lemme just snatch that 4 and 2 I had in there and there you go: 42.
