deadprofile 1,122 September 2, 2014 Share September 2, 2014 Are you one of those girls who thinks it's cool to not like things that are defined as feminine? I don't understand that point of view. I think stuff like sundresses are fun and cute, but I am equally happy wearing normal khakis and tee shirts. It's fine to have a bit of a sense of "style" and still maintain a practical and professional wardrobe. Feminine is fine if balanced with modesty. I often wear long (down to my ankles) skirts (the hippie kind). What I mean by "girly" is the what most women and girls wear today. The popular fashions that are plainly accepted without pause. Modest clothes are hard to find in normal stores, unless I go for stores catering to the older population that have fashions that though more modest, are not my taste. What most women wear that are my age (I am 23) are overtly revealing, unfashionable for many body types (I really don't like seeing bigger women/girls wearing leggings as pants or bikini's or low cut anything). I also don't like seeing women with their boobs about to fall out of their clothes, or plumbers crack on women. This is modern fashion for women, this is what many say is perfectly feminine. I don't mind being confident and comfortable in the clothes you wear, and what you choose to wear is your choice. However, to make such revealing clothes not only mainstream, but catering to younger and younger girls, is sickening to no end! I can't find feminine clothes I like because of how revealing and overall slutty they are. Hence why I prefer guys clothes and razorback tank tops. Not only is it easy to find ONE size of pants to wear (I am 36-32 in guys, whereas depending on brand, I range anywhere from a 9 to a 18 in women's). Sadly, most clothes are revealing, overly frilled, and extremely expensive and flimsy (i beef up my skirts, buy tanks in bulk and sadly watch my pony clothes from Hot Topic develop holes after having them for only a few months just because they are so cheaply made), this is what girl clothes are, and older women's clothes, and modest fashions are just not very accepted, and thus do not fall into the catergory of girly. Professional clothes are modest and other than skirts and certain "man specific" professional clothes (ties), professional clothes can be worn by either gender and still be professional. Rainbowcrash420 109 September 3, 2014 Share September 3, 2014 I live in portland and see alot of bad fashion. Trench coats, cargo shorts with a fedora, girls dressed like 60s hippies, man skirts, boots with shorts and boots in general unless your working, waves of swag kids, etc. 1 Rainbow dash is cool
Not_active 732 September 3, 2014 Share September 3, 2014 this is where the fashionista in me comes out but: fedoras trilbys pork pies (the hat, not the food) socks and sandals Crocs unnaturally dyed hair. Be it full colour, highlights, or dips Hawaiian shirts clashing colours track suits track pants track anything flat-peak caps (many would disagree, but oh well) trousers pulled above the waist trousers pulled far below the waist and I've probably missed out a bunch more The black track pants with the white stripes on aren't that bad, are they? 1 Ask me something: https://mlpforums.com/topic/116567-ask-ravelowif-you-want-to-3/page-2 <3 :*

KatieBelle 302 September 3, 2014 Share September 3, 2014 The t-shirts with frilly skirts is definitely a crime. But brown as a main color can look really nice. It just depends on the shade. THIS SHADE OF BROWN SHOULD ONLY BE USED FOR ACCENTS! Bad fashion? Jean shorts. (on guys)

Do you realize how many people keep comments to themselves? I never tell anyone what I think of what they are wearing... Though I have gotten comments on my skirts, but no matter what you wear, there will always be people who also agree with your outfit. Ziggy + Angel + Rain 11,303 September 4, 2014 Share September 4, 2014 When I actually bother to put on things I like, I'm a walking talking fashion crime lol. I know it. Anyone with eyes facing my way knows it. I don't care. I've started painting my nails rainbow colors, I'll pick a Mario or pony or Lovecraft T-shirt out of my closet, I'll have on a pair of shiny sort-of basketball shorts, and I'll squeeze into a pair of colorful (sometimes women's xD ) socks. And if the fashion police show up, I can likely outrun them; because they're probably wearing heels. 1 "It uses the faculty of what you call imagination. But that does not mean making things up. Feather Spiral 1,892 December 10, 2017 Share December 10, 2017 When my sister polishes her nails... one color for each finger. Literally, she grabs ten different colors and paints one on each fingernail. All because she saw one of her teachers do it 30 years ago. It wouldn't bother me that much if she had any sense of what goes with what. Instead, every time she does it (thankfully not often), it's an aesthetic abomination. TBD 17,256 December 10, 2017 Share December 10, 2017 (edited) I'm going to be bluntly honest here..it would be the Kawaii. Don't ask me what's that is, but it just a fashion trend from Japan that would consider stylish or cute. There's more but some are just beyond words.... Anyways I don't mind it, but some just freak the jibby outta me. I'm not talking about their fashion taste (although there are some that is just bad). But the things is, not only people would pick up the kawaii fashion but also trying to act like they're asian when they are not. Fuck that okay? You're not asian, so stop trying. Feel free to wear what you like but let's not overdoing it by pretending to be one's ethnicity. Another fashion crime is when some fashion designers i seen would try hard to be unique and different with their fashion, that it's just came out ridiculous. Don't ask me for references , I just watch this one fashion show for asia and have no clue what it's called. It's funny, because just recently I thought about a personal change, like trying something new or maybe finding something that fits me and my personality. While looking through the online shops, I just got bored more and more and stopped after 10 or 20 minutes. I never cared how others look. And I will never care how I look...to an extent! Hygiene is what is important to me. Simple black outfits look the best to me, just normal shirts and jeans. As long as it is nothing “lazy”, if you know what I mean. But I also think women have more possibilities. Something like a dress fits them. I could technically wear them too of course, but in my opinon it doesn't look nice on a guy.
